When did everyone/everything become so political? i know people that ALL they argue about is politics and try to inject politics into everything that isn't strictly political.
Honest question, when did it start and what triggered it?

It's called 'politicization' and I am not sure why it came to exist or why it is so prevalent now.
Part of my says it's because we all have a hope that 'our country' (where ever you live) has to better the life experience for its citizens. 'Our country' is of course run by politicians (in a legal/official sense, it's really run by the people). So in that way, the only who can make a change are the politicians.
It's 'easier' in our mind to reach out to say.. 100-1000 politicians online, rather than the millions of people that live in your country.
When these hundreds [of politicians] can have a greater affect than these millions [of citizens], our simple monkey brain probably just says "huh, must be easier for those 100's of bozos to figure it out and fix it".
But that's just the ramblings stuck in my head. Not sure what the root of the cause is.

It’s been bubbling up for a while, and now we have two generations of kids who have been exposed to nothing but politics, probably by design.
