  1. He also said he'll do $200 if I help him out with his car so I'm definitely buying it now.
  2. Lol like I said I know nothing about laptop hardware. Would it have a label on the mobo or something?
  3. He actually dropped it off at my house so I could use it for a while. I'm not sketched out by it I've known him for a long time he wouldn't sell me something that was broken. I'm just at work right now so I'm not able to use it. How does it seem sneaky?
  4. That's the thing I'm not really in need of one. Think I would be able to resell it for $300 if it's not powerful enough?
  5. My friend is going to sell me his old laptop for $300. It has an i7-4710mq, 16 gigs of ram, 120 gig ssd, 1tb hard drive and a gtx 960m. I don't really need it because I have multiple gaming computers but my laptop doesn't have a dedicated gpu. So I'm wondering is this deal good enough that I should take it anyway and just be happy with it? Sorry I know nothing about laptop hardware.
  6. I have a gtx 1070 at the moment. I want a 4k display for the extra pixels for productivity, but I want to game at 1440p because I know I won't be hitting 60 fps at 4k with a 1070. I already have an lg ultrawide with freesync. maybe I should wait to get a monitor and see what amd has with vega.
  7. If I use a 4k G-sync panel will G-sync still be available at 1440p. So my question is will G-sync work with resolutions other than what is native to the monitor?
  8. Thanks I appreciate the video. I might just wait until ces Lg is releasing a 32inch 4k monitor with hdr so I might just look into that.
  9. I don't want to spend more than $500 I was looking at a 32 inch Samsung monitor but I know nothing about VA panels
  10. I can't justify spending 1000+ on a monitor lol
