Upgrade from 4930k to R7 1800x?
PaliteArchitect replied to PaliteArchitect's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
well, cinebench is a render test. I do rendering stuff, so it seems closest one to my intended use. Ill wait a bit to see if all the issues will disappear 30-35% is a good bump. Especially considering long-term upgrade path it looks even more attractive I can expect to sell my Mobo+memory+cpu and pay off the price of 1800x+AsusZ370mobo. Would have to pay extra for memory though I just want to sell it untill its 6cores are worth something -

is it much more powerfull? -
Ive ben using my 4930k for last 2 years. I am architect, do tons of rendering on 3ds max. Also i do gaming, from time to time with 1070. cpu overclocked to 4.4 gpu overclocked to 2045mhz should i upgrade to ryzen? cuz i would enjoy all those 8 cores, especially if their ipc is higher. Although troubles with memory is a concern to me. I want at least 32gb, maybe 64 Does it worth the money spent? How much can i sell my 4930k, asus z79 deluxe mobo, 16(4x4gb)gb ram 2400mhz from hyper x for? i hope at least to pay for cpu and memory from it

industrialppc or redux 140mm? Redux 140mm 1500rpm fans are rated at 130cfm and 1.9 pressure which seems great is there a reason for industrial model? I looked at silent wings 3 from bequiet, they actually seem great performers at low db.... which would you pick for yourself? Cuz i dont think there will be any significant difference between all those models -

What about noiseblockers eloop? They look fantastic Are they better performers at same dB? Couldn't find direct comparison I guess noctua one love? -

if u look from the top it looks better (like a lot) with 120mm u will get this shape: xHxHx plus i can install only 1 140mm so i wil get : xHXH -

Nfa15 is better performer than sp120, with a lot more airflow at lower dB I guess 140mm fan is essential for this heatsink Plus I have only one af15, I tried painting it, decided not to touch blades. 120mm would look awkward between those heatsinks -
yes i do. I need one, but never found anything decent. the one im using is portable, thin, lightweight, but weak. I want at least similar screen with better specs

it is not portable. read description pls
