  1. I'm currently using U7 - the difference is that you would have 5.1 channels and I have 7.1. I would suggest you to buy USB microphone - it would be cheaper and better. You can find nice used microphones for pretty good price. If you want to stay with your jack pick do not put your mic on max - leave 5% off because sound will be extremelly bad - even worse than sound from internal card.
  2. @bcguru9384 Xonar U7 is powered by USB (http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/asus-xonar-u7-review,1.html) and amplifier is applied only to headphones for Jack plug. I've connected tube amp by chinch plugs (for speakers) because i dont like how they sound from asus amp. I've changed chinch cables and noise is very quiet and I have to put volume very high to hear noise. Thank you all for your help. For others in the future, change your cables between DAC and your Amp.
  3. It is powered by USB (2.0) by shielded cable
  4. I've unploged all USB devices and still I have those noices - I've unploged every single RAM sticks, hard drives, fans and even GPU. I've changed my soundcard for integrated in mobo and noices are even louder. I'll try to record this sound (connecting output as mic to other device) I've found (presumed) a source of my problem - integrated USB plugs in mobo. I'll try to order PCI-E card with USB and try it again.
  5. Hi, I'm facing weird issue with my PC. When my computer is working I can hear noises/buzzing (quiet but very annoying when I'm working on my PC all day) from my headphones: When I'm moving mouse (high frequence noise) When hard drive is working (lower frequence) when I'm playing games and music is off, there is no sound from app coming out but i can still hear that noise I'm not using integrated sound cart but External usb DAC/AMP Asus Xonar U7 -> Tube amp Felix Audio -> AKG K553 PRO Mobo: MSI Z97S SLI KRAIT EDITION PSU: Thermaltake 530W I've tried already changing cable, socket. Do you have any ideas what can be causing that noise?
