  1. Hi, I have an Asus Z270E motherboard sporting supreme FX audio. I also have a home theatre that supports Dolby Digital and DTS. (Samsung HT-DM150) I have connected it via optical/SPDIF cable as it has no way of accepting 5.1 surround through auxiliary. I can play 5.1 surround with the test button in the audio properties and if I play a video with 6 channel sound in either dolby digital or DTS. I want to be able to play games such as Battlefield 1 and Resident Evil BioHazard in surround but I will need to re-encode the surround sound to Dolby Digital or DTS connect. I have read on other forums that this can be achieved by using internal soundcards but I was hoping this would be a problem that could be solved with software. Since I live in an area with no amazon or newegg it is really difficult to obtain such items and I would greatly appreciate any input on this issue. Regards, Hasan
  2. So if I am to understand this correctly, with a Z170 board (with 20 lanes) and a 6th gen intel processor (with 16 lanes) I should be able to run two graphics cards at 8x using the processors 16 lanes and still be able to use an m.2 drive (which would disable some of my sata ports) and a PCIe x1 wi-fi card (assuming there is enough physical space to install it) using the chipset lanes?
