The UX501 is a worse-build with lesser cooling. I view it as a downgrade. The N550 is more than capable concurrently, add an SSD and keep using it.

You are going to need to buy a motherboard rack, and then fit that into a fish tank like TheKDub just said. You can probably find them on newegg or amazon, and once you have it the process is similar to building a normal computer, just follows LTT's guide.

Yea, you can get some really good deals on hardware when Black Friday comes around. I would say sign up for newsletters from Newegg or something and wait because you will get emails with hardware that is really good and really cheap.

    Hope that helps!

YEA! you can do a lot with a PC and with that CPU, you can enable virtualization and BOOM you can be running a server no problem. If you want to be running a file server I would recommend using OWNcloud, it is a great OPEN source software that you can set up in minutes with the guides. Have you ever played around with Linux or open source software for that matter?

I am not sure about the CDN prices however at the price I would say you are better off getting a more powerful card! However you should not need to worry about card life, I have been using my 780 to run a 1440p and 1080p monitor for over 4 years without any problems.

The life of a card does depend on the temp at which the card is running at, however unless you are doing serious overclocking the stock cooler should be adequate. What are you planning on doing with the card, and how much would that cost for your exact card?

That is 290X not 290, but 970 is still better choice IMO.

pumps usually take a long time to fail but i honestly don't know if you actually NEED two pumps but it wouldnt hurt if you did.
Just make sure the pumps both have water before turning it on when you are priming it. Maybe prime with only of the pumps. Make sure those pumps do not run dry

You are not going to get a more competitive build than this one for the both of best worlds. If you are really focused on the editing side of things, then you can consider an extreme edition CPU but that will jump up the price and force you to compromise elsewhere. BTW those are some of my favorite monitors! Colors are amazing

Here you go! I'm very confident in this system and I know that it would defiantly kick ass for whatever you need it to do. It's got a lot of super fast storage, a great CPU (4790k), dual GTX 980's and a awesome red and black color scheme however if you don't like that color scheme you can always substitute it for some other colors! I hope this is the one that you pick!

Yea these do not stand out to me as artifact, I have run benchmarks were the whole screen is affected or the image is completely distorted, like mentions above this seems to just be lighting because of the way that it fits in to the benchmark.

As long as the bridge is long enough and they are the same card (Vram and 960) then it will have no problem.

MountainPro got a reaction from Vivilacqua1 in Dark rock pro 3, vs custom loop (specs in descrip.)
I cannot speak to the transporting aspect of water cooling for I have never been there but I personaly use  DRP3 in my OC i7 4770k and I can say that my temp most of the time are fine under 60 but under high load I will hang around 70-85 but that still is fine. So I would say with that chip non OC the air would be fine. I am also going to be making a water loop in the next few months and love then look when done right. So if you are ok with higher temps and solid portability I would go with the DRP3

I would say a vary fast and effective way to see if its a hardware or a software issue, you should get your windows 7 installation CD and do a full re install of windows. you can backup photos songs ext but do not backup programs. Once you have a new windows installed used it as if it was never slow. if it is still slow it's a hardware issue that can be your CPU, GPU, RAM and so on tell me how it works out for you
