  1. If you want to get more than one on there, you can try using Rufus. When I make a multi stick I usually get it to work with that. https://rufus.akeo.ie/ Hope it helps!
  2. WHAT! I need to start focusing more on mobile hardware. I had no idea they were rebrands, I figured they were simply being modeled off of their 900 series counter parts.
  3. Really? Yea I am not familiar with laptops if you cannot tell haha, I saw the 960m and 4k so I figured it would be better than what I was using. Thank you for the help haha, do you know of anyway I could fix the blurry text or is it just something I should live with. Other than that it has been a great machine.
  4. I agree that has to be a broken sensor, have you tried any other monitoring software?
  5. Do you guys think it would be worth selling it to upgrade to an ASUS UX501? Or am I better off just using this laptop for a while longer? My biggest problem with it is the panel is just shit and gets fuzzy on a lot of text.
  6. Hey guys, I have an ASUS N550J with an 850m, i7 4710HQ, 16GB ram, and 256GB SSD storage, does anyone know a fair price to charge for that laptop? It is about a year old and in perfect condition (No scratches or anything) and comes with the original charger and stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Josh
  7. Yea, you can get some really good deals on hardware when Black Friday comes around. I would say sign up for newsletters from Newegg or something and wait because you will get emails with hardware that is really good and really cheap. Hope that helps!
  8. Are you looking at mini itx for space constraints or personal preference?
  9. Personally I have a DxRacer chair, and I could never go back. I think I have the Rx model, it is extremely comfortable, has helped me with my posture, and generally doesn't make me feel like crap after gaming for 8 or 9 hours. If you are looking into getting a gaming chair, I would 100% recommend a DxRacer or Maxnomic chair like the LTT crew is currently using. They are all made from great materials and are extremely comfortable.
  10. Yes, this is a great case and should be more than enough room for all of your components.
  11. What do you want to use it for? A gaming case or for a smaller computer focused more on word processing?
  12. Yea, sorry I just wasn't sure if this was a budget build or not so I thought I would mention it
  13. I mean he would get buy, but expansion would be out of the question
  14. Yea go with the intel build, however I would say you might want to see if you can get the 980 to fit into the intel build, because that system would be perfect with that GPU,. ( It is still a killer build without it)
  15. YEA! you can do a lot with a PC and with that CPU, you can enable virtualization and BOOM you can be running a server no problem. If you want to be running a file server I would recommend using OWNcloud, it is a great OPEN source software that you can set up in minutes with the guides. Have you ever played around with Linux or open source software for that matter?
  16. I don't know how and I didn't see an option.
  17. Yea, It was a bad title but I couldn't change it because I accidentally posted it too soon.
  18. When I am gaming temps go into 50s however I have fans set to come on at 60 degrees C and at 600rpm, which quickly drops temps down again.
  19. I hit tab and posted by accident I wasn't done writing it lol
  20. Hey guys, this is not only my first water cooling build, but it also the most complex build I have ever attempted! Specs: GPUs: 2x EVGA GTX 980 sc CPU: Intel i7 4770k @3.9ghz Turbo (Overclock coming) RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz Storage: 120GB OCZ SSD (Soon to change...the drive is 6 years old and dying) 1TB 840 EVO SSD 256GB 840 EVO SSD New drive coming soon b/c out of storage...(Maybe an M.2 what are your thoughts?) Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VI Formula PSU: Corsair 760Axi RADs: 2x Quad ekwb CoolStream XE rads 1x Triple ekwb CoolStream XE rad 1x Dual ekwb CoolStream XE rad Pump: EK-XTOP D5 PWM - Acetal CPU Block: EK-Supremacy EVO Acetal+Nickle GPU Block: EK-FC980 GTX Acetal EK-FC980 GTX Backplate- Black Fans: 14x Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000 PWM Case: Corsair 900d Monitors: ASUS VG24BQE 144hz 1ms response rate (This is my gaming monitor) ASUS PB278Q 27-Inch WQHD LED This project started out as a dream to build a PC in a desk over 8 months ago, however taking that to college would e near impossible. So I decided to throw it all into a 900d and see what happens. After some case modifications I was able to fit all of the rads into the case and eventually plumb the tubing into said custom fit rads. Yes I know there is NO need for all of the rad space, however I can not run fan less at around 35 degrees C. I am very happy with the out come, however it is not done because currently there is not enough lighting within the case and cable management can be better. Let me know what you guys think, and any suggestions on the lighting would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for checking out my build! P.S The amount of Velcro used was impressive.
  21. Look around, I am sure you can find a deal on a 980 or something if you really wanted to go with Nvidia.
  22. Dude he never mentioned 1440p, and I was saying an i7 for the example because he wanted specifically a 6th Gen Intel. I am just gonna leave this here, I was not trying to be augmentative, I was simply saying what I know. Sorry that what I was saying got you so mad.
  23. Starting with 2 cards will be limiting where you can go in the future, by going with 1 980 you are allowing yourself to have more room to scale with more cards in the future. And in this thread we are talking about 1080p, which the 980 is better in. I am always up for discussion and productive talks, however @Venomz1337 is right, there is no need to be so aggressive.
  24. If you are not using your PC for workstation applications, you do not need to be running a xeon, you are spending more money for things that are not going to help you when gaming in any noticeable way. That is all I am saying, I know that xeons have more POWER however when it comes to gaming they are not needed at all.
