  1. That sounds like a nice and simple solution, but I have an RX 480
  2. I recently bought an AOC G2260VWQ6 75Hz monitor. It is supposed to be 75Hz, but when I go to display properties, the maximum refresh rate available is 60Hz. I have two possible answers to my problem, but no way to test them. I am using an old HDMI cable I've had for a while. One possibility is that it's an old cable and doesn't support that speed. My other possibility is that my desired speed is only available using DP, which is the case for FreeSync. I was wondering if there was anything else I may have missed. Thoughts?
  3. I'm running the game fullscreen, at the native resolution.
  4. I'm using an 8GB GamingX RX480 on a 1680x1050 monitor. According to every benchmark in existence, I should never be getting under 60fps at maxed out settings in new games like DOOM and Arkham Knight. Instead, I get 45fps at high-normal settings, no post-FX. I have run several benchmarking programs, including Furmark, Userbenchmark, and both Firestrike and Time Spy in 3DMark. Each of those programs say my rig is performing better than most similar builds. However, I have yet to see proof of that. I have no idea what could be causing my issues, everything is said to be fine. help plz
  5. I can get a 4GB MSI Gaming X RX480 for 290$ CAD, whereas a Zotac Mini 6GB 1060 is 315$CAD. Neither of those prices include tax or shipping.
  6. I was just wondering if I should buy a 6GB 1060, a 4GB RX480, or an 8GB RX480. All the benchmarks I've seen show that the 1060 is a better card, but people are saying that new games will run better on the RX480. Also, I can get the 480 for cheaper. Which one should I buy?
  7. Is there a point to getting a 6GB 1060 instead of a 3GB 1060 when running on a 1080p monitor? I'm in Canada, and the prices on 1060s are a bit higher than I would like, so I need to know if it's worth the extra money. Also, as the 1060 runs extremely cool under load, are two ball-bearing fans really that useful compared to one? If I were to buy a 1060, what model should I go for?
  8. I'm torn between getting the Inwin 303, the NZXT S340, the Phanteks ECLIPSE P400S, and the Thermaltake Chaser A31. Which is the best? I find the Inwin to be the best looking, but drive bays and RGB lighting are also pretty nice. Thoughts? EDIT: I'm currently using the CM Storm Enforcer and want to get a similar quality case or better. I would have gotten the P400S right off the bat had I not also known about the Inwin 303 and the S340, both which I find to bet way better looking. The Inwin seems to have a better quality overall build, as well as a beautiful tempered glass side window. The S340 was added to the list due to it's popularity, and the Chaser A31 has front bays, which is useful to have.
