  1. Thanks for the info. I have one question. The video card I bought has hdmi 2.0 port. That supports higher refresh rate but all online shops i checked just say HDMI port in the spec section of any monitor I looked, even the most expensive ones. How do I know if any monitor has hdmi 2.0 or 1.4 etc..
  2. Hello, guys. I recently bought a new PC. i5 6600k GTX 1060 6GB 16GB Ram I need a new monitor and I'm really lost. All I know for sure is that i want 24 inch decent monitor. I'm using the PC for everything, it's an all around multi media machine, but I'm gonna do a lot of gaming also. So i need all around decent monitor for under $300. I can't decide if I need 144hz refresh rate, or 60 is enough. What are the best ports to have on a monitor (hdm, dvi, display port) Response time ... etc. I got my eye on the acer predator gn246hl for a 144mhz and a benq zowie RL2455 for $150 less thats 60hz Is 144hz better outside of gaming. Is it noticeable while doing anything else on the pc (browsing, picture and video editing..etc)? I know the question is kinda broad but that's the best i can give as an info. Thanks in advance, I really need some guidance on that one.
  3. Even though I'm not gonna buy neither of the suggested cards, you made me doubt my choice of buying the 1050Ti. Thanks for that, because I convinced myself to drop the idea of buying NZXT S340 Elite (for the fancy look) and go for GTX 1060 6GB.
  4. RX 470 4gb is somewhere between 1050 Ti G1 and the Palit's version of 1060 3GB, while the RX 480 is exactly the same price as the Palit 1060 3GB
  5. Hello, guys! I'm gonna buy a new PC in two weeks and I am torn between two video cards. Now, i know that 1060 has better performance over 1050 Ti for gaming, and that's what I mostly care about, but there are other important factors to consider. Even the most expensive 1050 ti card is in my price range, like the G1 Gigabyte version which has Boost: 1506 MHz/ Base: 1392 MHz in OC Mode Boost: 1480 MHz/ Base: 1366 MHz in Gaming. While if I get 1060, only the absolute cheapest version of that card is in my price range (given the prices in my country) like the Palit GeForce GTX 1060 3GB which has 1506 MHz/ Base and 1708MHz boost. That card is about $20-25 more expensive in my country then the 1050 Ti g1. Other better version of the 1060 chip are way out of my price range. Which card is the better solution overall considering, performance, build quality...etc? Thanks in advance!
  6. Thank you for the information!
  7. Hello! I want to buy Kingston HyperX Fury Black 2133MHz DDR4 16GB Ram. My problem is that the lowest price i found in the stores in my country is on an online shop, where they sell only single sticks of 8GB ram of that specific type of memory. My question is - will it be OK if I just buy two sticks from this shop and will they work in Dual Channel if they are not being sold together in pair?
  8. Thank you all for the answers. You've been helpful. I am gonna check all the suggestions and ill pick one. I know that the Case is a little bit on the expensive side, especially given the rest of the build, but i always buy the cheapest case to be able to spend most of the budget on performance, This time around I've decided to invest into more expensive case that I'm gonna use in the long run for future builds also. What do I need the m.2 for? I'm not arguing, just genuinely asking.
  9. Hello, everybody! I am planning on building a PC. CPU: I5-6400 (possibly 6500,not sure yet) GPU: GTX 1050 Ti 4GB RAM: 16 GB ddr 3 or 4 - I'm not sure if dd4 will make any difference on this build. If you can comment on this and perhaps give me suggestions for dd4 supporting MB if you think I need it, or dd3 one. Case: NZXT S340 Elite As you have probably noticed, this is a budget build. If you can give me some advice for a good under $100 MB, I'll be thankful.
  10. The s340 Elite looks nice. The tempered window is a huge improvement. I guess I can live without the Razer logo. I want to ask another question that I missed in my initial post. Since there is no room for a radiator on the top, the only place you can put one is on the front, right next to the intake fans. Doesn't that mean that the 2 front fans will be blowing hot air in the case since the flow is passing through the hot radiator?
  11. Yes, it was a typo, sorry.:) I edited it, and thanks for the answer.
  12. Hello, everybody! I am new to this community and this is my first post. First of all, I'll have to excuse myself for my english as it is not my native language. I have some questions about this case and also about PC cases in general. I'll be happy if you are willing to answer some or all of them. I am planning on upgrading my PC and this is the case that caught my eye. I have found some positive reviews but some of them mentioned that the side windowed panel scratches very easily. Can someone who owns this case confirm this? Are scratches inevitable in the long run even if you are really careful. I also want to know about the durability of the matte black finish on the rest of the case. The second concern I have with the case are the two 3.5" inch mounts for HDD in the basement area. I've read somewhere that the mounts are not isolated and this could result in vibration and noise. Given the fact i use 3.5" WD HDD, this could be a problem. The last thing i want to ask about this case is about the air cooling. As far as I know, the case comes with one fan on the back and one on the top. There are 2 slots on the front but no fans there. Now, if you are going to go with only two fans on a case, isn't "one on the front (for intake) and one on the back (for exhaust)" configuration the best?. I know i can just take the one on the top and put in on the front but I have watched so many reviews on this case and no one mentioned that the stock positioning of the fans is not optimal, so I was wondering if I am missing something? If you think that my worries about this case are valid what other case would you recommend to me? The reason i chose this case is not only the fact i have Razer peripherals, but I enjoy simplistic and clean design. So even if i have to switch to other case option, I would still want something with similar design. My budget for case is no more then $100. Do all cases under $100 with windowed side panel scratch easily? I really tried to find an answer to all of my questions on my own, but i didn't find satisfying one Thanks in advance and cheers!
