not necessarily. i'm talking upgrading the ram, storage and some laptops have socketed cpu's. 
 
exactly. you can get good laptops used, but usually nowhere near you. but shipping products in scrapyard wars is on another level of cheating...
 
depends. if you get something like an HP Proliant ML350 G(insert number) you can get those in tower form. you can technically use that as a desktop pc... a big loud one but you can do it.

budget US$1000 budget only includes laptop and charger in the case of a MacBook the games will be run on Windows to keep it fair judging criteria:
gaming (usual benchmarks + an esports title like OVerwatch) video export speed looks acoustics display quality

do a follow up playing games on it using Linux. then it will be true to the budget. now you'd have to factor Windows into the budget. 

i fixed it. i had to disable both the amd gpu and the intel gpu in device manager. 
 
this means that Windows runs without gpu acceleration but i don't mind that. i'll only be using it for office and some other stuff for school. 
 
EDIT: nope, it works for a bit and then it crashes. 

@TopHatProductions115 just google radeongate...

i'm scared that if i re-enable it it will break on me. that's why i disabled it in the first place. these dGPU's are very unreliable. 

what's with new OS's and backup's/files? 
 
macOS Mojave is corrupting time machine disks for some, and Windows is deleting files. 

I like it on my keyboard so I can colour code some keys, like was a colour, q a colour, shift a colour, etc. 
 
I do have rgb fans in my machine but those are set to white. 

Samsung probably knew that Linus didn't like Bixby so they re-engineered Bixby to listen extra carefully for Linus's voice, so when Linus would review it, he'd get a better bixby experience and therefore give Bixby a better review

Sponsored reviews are a huge conflict of interest, you were entirely positive in this video, as if it had no flaws whatsoever. It didn't feel genuine in any way, more like corporate boardroom approved advertisement. I prefer when your sponsors for videos are not related to the product, which removes any conflicts that may come up. You also never mention that these phones have a locked bootloader and never get any updates. I still love LTT and always will, but this was trash, please do better going forward.

have you tried reseating the ram and power connectors?
