if they were installed using UEFI you should be able to bypass grub by selecting "Windows Boot Manager" in the boot options in your bios.

From my experience the BIOS Boot menu will show you boot options for both the Ubuntu and Windows partitions. If you delete the Ubuntu partition Windows should still appear as a bootable partition in the BIOS. You can select it and boot to it directly from there.

Android One is set to change that.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_One
my Nokia 7.2 has it, and I have more than 2 years of updates (iirc, wikipedia says so) and I got an update 2 days ago iirc, which was the February 5 security patch. so I'm about a month behind.

Android One is a lot better than what it used to be like. granted, it's not as good as Apple's support, but you pay a hefty price for that. an iPhone 8 (an almost 3 year old phone!!!!) is still €500 where I live. my Nokia cost me €310, the specs are vastly improved and I have 3 years of updates I believe, otherwise two. considering I paid pretty much half for my phone than the cheapest brand new iPhone I could find that's reasonable to buy (although a 3 year old phone at €500 is still madness) and that you can buy cheaper android one devices than my phone was I'd say the argument of support from Apple doesn't really stand anymore.

What kind of psychopath even gives a homework app anything other than 1 star.
Probably the same kind that says Studying is their favorite hobby.

the celeron is the bottleneck there. Linux runs well on 2GB of ram as long as you don't do things that max out the ram. a lightweight distro uses about 500mb so you have 1.5gb left. you can do plenty with that.

avoid that. it used to send telemetry (not anymore) which is a big no no in linux, also it's quite bloated because of the custom theming thing they have going on, and parts of their interface are gnome based iirc (could be wrong there), regardless it's not the lightest OS out there, and with only 2GB of ram every mb matters.

2GB of ram is quite low even for linux. if you can upgrade it i'd recommend going up to 4gb, that'll give you some more room. then you'll actually be able to run linux and have chrome and something like spotify running at the same time.

no. not after that. i dislike this attitude immensely. every company makes good things and bad things. i hate some things microsoft makes like Windows, and i lve some things they make like Visual Studio Code. i hate some things apple makes like modern iphones but i love some other things they make like macOS and some models of Mac. this attitude of yours doesn't contribute to my review at all and if you wanted the wallpaper you should have just DM'd me about it.

their 13" devices are very reliable in general up to 2016. 2016 and later models have the keyboard issue, but 2015 and earlier are very reliable. the only issue i've had with mine was the drive cable that failed but i can see that being my fault since i forgot a drive was still plugged in once and tried to take it out, and in the process pulled quite hard on the cable. even still, it was a €10 problem that took me 20 minutes to fix.

my Windows pc's have Windows defender. i literally only use those for gaming and nothing else so if they get infected i'll just yeet the OS and reinstall it.
