@VegetableStu 250gb, like 30% used at the time and it's about 3 years old. it's been used as a secondary drive most of the time just storing games or other crap like VM's.

it's a server psu @Tech_Dreamer. it fits in a slot. there are 2 psu's like that in the server so if one fails the server doesn't turn off.

@sowon ikr, the hardware is awesome, but up until recently it was only available on flagships liek the galaxy S series but those had (IMO) horrible software.

the fact that things like this, a nokia "budget" phone with pretty much stock android and a promise of updates exist now that also have good hardware is very nice to see.

Ashley xD got a reaction from soldier_ph in gonna rant a bit, be warned. so i'm switching away from Apple. completely. the thruth
@Bombastinator lemme put it like this. a replacement battery for my 6s was €39. a replacement battery for my LG was €11.

an iPhone 6s costs about €150 on the used market. for that same price (often less) you can get a Sony XA2, which is faster, has more ram, a better screen, etc etc.

it's fine. not perfect but fine. the 290X can't really keep up with modern games as it is aging and only has 4gb of vram, but if you wanna play old/not very demanding games it's fine.

@Pascal... not sure. i want to, but on the other hand it's like... eeeh. i can do all my experimenting in Linux in a VM.

it's also not a new laptop. it's a backup laptop i have had for years. it's a 2012 elitebook 9470m. it's been abused by the previous owner and it looks horrific on the outside, all scratched, but it's the most reliable laptop i've ever had. it's never not booted up lol.

@wkdpaul that makes sense. the fact that Windows still doesn't have something comparable to Time Machine 13 years after it was introduced is even more insulting.

like if my Mac bricks I boot to recovery, restore from time machine and after 2 hours it's exactly the way it was before the OS broke... Windows really needs to have that.
