I have a business HP laptop (ProBook) that's way easier to fix :D

really? also in the case of taking out the power input jack?

Power input jack's part of the motherboard for the ProBook 6475b. But the mobo's easy to remove. If they made a Ryzen/Vega (Ravenrigde?) variant of that model, I'd be in heaven ;) Just make sure that it comes with an AM4 socket, and I'd actually consider buying it instead of a Xeon laptop next summer :D
