just experienced another windows 10 bug...
i opened my laptop, it resumed from sleep, but my trackpad and kkeyboard did nothing. i could tell the laptop hadn't crashed, because my keyboard turned purple, and the rgb software for it needs to run in order to do that.
the only way i could log in was close my laptop again, wait for it to sleep, open it again and then i could log in...
and i'm not even running the disaster that is 1809. my laptop is running 1803.

@TopHatProductions115 i doubt it's the drive. it has an SSD, and it's less than 2 years old... i think it's just Windows 10 being garbage as usual...

@firelighter487 I'm not suggesting that it's the drive (though I understand why you came to that assumption from my previous post). What I'm suggesting is that (as you just stated) it may be a software issue. By installing WIndows 10 to a new drive, you can keep the old install while transferring your data over to a fresh new install (hopefully with less issues). The convenience is in the fact that you didn't have to start over from square one, and can switch back and forth until you're done moving everything over to the new clean install It's a method I've tried before, and it's a lot better than having to restore direct;y from a backup (especially if the backup somehow preserves the issue that's forcing you to reinstall in the first place)...

@TopHatProductions115 that makes sense, but it has been clean installed about 3 weeks ago so... yeah...
