  1. Is there any factors that could play into low write speeds? I'm getting really low write speeds I think on my newly bought 870 evo.
  2. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wYMh7X for reference, running on Windows 10 Pro. Last night I did four things since upgrading my computer, and to my knowledge CAM was still detecting my z63 before these four things. I decided to update my bios for the Crosshair VIII Hero from 2702 to 3003, I added a wifi card to my motherboard, I added new thermal paste to my cpu, and I installed a standoff to hold my second m.2 (I...had been holding it down this whole time with the heatsink since I couldn't find the standoff the first time). After booting up my pc, I see that my cooler is now not being recognized, and I try to see if it's listed as a usb in the bluetooth settings and device manager and it's not so I'm not sure what happened. I tried replugging the usb 2.0 header to both headers on my motherboard as well as my command pro header, neither or them work. I'm sure the header still works since my lighting for my header controlled by lighting core connected to my command pro works still. I even tried plugging in a different micro-usb to my kraken and connecting that to the front usb port, and it wasn't being recognized. I'm running CAM 4.17.
  3. Well, they're suppose to look like this, but the the head of the silver piece is circular and the black piece isn't the most flexible thing in the world
  4. Any suggestions on how to stick them back in? Pure force does not seem to do the trick
  5. Early this year I built my first PC and was dumb enough to pull the silver piece out of the black piece from my hard drive bay. I still have two intact, but do I actually need them?
  6. So, I suck at overclocking and no nothing about it. But recently I've been indulged in Black Desert Online, which many say is a CPU based game. I was wondering if I were to overclock from my current 4.2 to 4.4, would it create much of a difference? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/h4BJKZ is my current rig right now. If it were beneficial to overclock to 4.4, do you think it's safe to go up to 4.4 ghz from 4.2 ghz without changing my voltage? I want to say it's 1.2v right now, kind of lazy to check but if needed I can :3
  7. It's an Asus dual-band 802.11ac specifically the Asus RT-AC52U
  8. Er, what's an AP exactly? I understand it's an access point...So is that my router or...? I've done multiple, and it's usually 11-16 ping with 60 down 5 up
  9. My family has this problem where when I decide to play games, they experience lag and slow connection. Even I experience problems while I'm using my phone at the computer. Is there a way to fix this? Is it because I'm using Ethernet? Is it because my plan or Charter sucks? Sorry if this is a simple problem, not very experienced with internet and all that On the side note, what does killer Ethernet do?
  10. Right now, my front intakes are running at 100% all the time due to being plugged in via molex cables, and it's getting kind of annoying, especially at night. So I was wondering if you guys have any good suggestions of fan hubs to buy, preferably one that is able to plugged in at least 4 fans. Thanks in advance!
  11. It was originally plugged into USB 2.0 ports, so I'm going to try a PS/2
  12. I've tried both, originally with USB 2 though Alrighty then
  13. Would I need to restart my PC everytime I try other ports? I tried all my ports earlier and none of them had worked. I'm using a wired mouse, as for the PS/2 port, i'd have to get back to you on that because I dont have any that use PS/2
