I am having an issue with Server 2016 and am hoping someone can help. If this is not an acceptable topic for this Forum, please let me know.
I am experiencing a problem with my home server. I am running Windows Server 2016 Datacenter and have the server essentials role installed. I have a number of shared folders setup for the different users and computers on the domain. Today when I go to click on the shared folders from one of the client computers I get the typical message "Windows cannot access \\sever..." The only thing I can remember changing right before this started happening was the password policy in Group policy management. In server manager I am getting a few errors in AD CS (91) and AD DS (2089, 4013, 1202) - not sure if these are related. The primary DNS of the client computers is set to the IP address of the domain controller. I am able to ping the server and the server shows up in network discovery but cannot be accessed when clicked on. Any help on this is much appreciated. Thanks!
