  1. Do you have something that compares the performance of the two mobile gpus or is this from experience of using laptops with them in?
  2. My current laptop is a Dell G5 5590 with a RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design And with the 30 series laptops now here I've been thinking of getting an upgrade but I'm stuck between two options https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/asus-rog-strix-g15-g513-amd-ryzen-7-5800h-16gb-1tb-ssd-15.6-inch-fhd-300hz-g513qr-hf010t/version.asp And this https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/asus-strix-amd-ryzen-7-5800h-16gb-1tb-ssd-15.6-inch-fhd-300hz-geforce-rtx-3-g533qs-hf085t/version.asp The only differences I can find between these two is that the second one has the 3080 and can have up to 64gb of RAM while the first can have up to 32gb of ram. I can afford the first one now but I'd have to wait a month or two for the 3080 in order to save up funds for it. My reason for choosing between these two devices is that I have an intel CPU on my device and the performance isn't the best and I see everywhere that the Ryzen 7 has better performance than I7s. So my main question is the performance between the 3070 and the 3080 laptop gpus large enough for me to get the 3080 or is it not notable enough that I would be fine with the 3070 and wouldn't be missing anything out.
  3. An update on this is that I have been invited to be beta and am currently testing it
  4. I presume that this is currently limited to mobile and tablet at this point in time so that could be why its allowed Perhaps they will do a follow-up when the beta is out and if they get access to it
  5. Summary The official beta for xCloud on iOS and PC begins tomorrow with select Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members being able top test the Xbox Cloud Gaming limited beta. Quotes My thoughts This is a great piece of news for those of you with an iOS device that can't wait for xcloud as the beta wasn't predicted to start for another 6 months. With Linus's latest video about gpus being in limited sotck and game streaming being an option for waiting this is great news as many of us a week ago were messing around with the hidden beta when the codes got retracted and now it looks like we can go at it again if the codes end up being a universal thing or not one time use. 6. A franchise that might be what you want is the Yakuza Series, you will spend some time upgrading you're character but you don't need to be fully upgraded to beat the games and you can get most of the upgrades by completing the story and sub stories and playing some of the minigames. The Saints Row franchise and Watch Dogs 2 might also be up your alley, L.A. Noire is a fun story driven game and if you're feeling up for it then dead rising is a good franchise where story is important.
  7. Hey. So I figured that I would try list all of Xbox All Access prices for as the Four regions it is available in, All Access comes with 24 months of Ultimate Game pass which includes The Base Game Pass for Xbox, Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass for PC, EA Play (From Launch of Xbox Series S/X is what's likely), Cloud gaming for mobile devices, Exclusive discounts (which probably don't mean anything to most people) and some free stuff for F2P games like warframe. All information collected from the xbox.com site and list of regions with All Access can be found here https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/regions and then selection the Xbox All Access Tab, As more Markets and retailers are planned I will check this once a week to see if updates are needed up to the launch of the Series S/X United Kingdom via GAME or SMYTHS United States via Best Buy, Walmart, Target and with plans for All Access to come to Microsoft Stores and GameStop Australia via Telstra New Zealand via Spark.co.nz
  8. Summary The Chinese brand XCY has reportedly created a desktop capable of viewing 4k videos in a 2.4-Inch Case with its XCY X51 which can be obtained from Aliexpress for $179.00 Quotes My thoughts My thoughts on this device is that it seems like an interesting gimmick and I would like to see whether or not some more powerful specs might be able to be introduced while retaining the form factor. As I would love to see this be used for some modern gaming, I can definitely see some use with this as a retro emulator that you have next to your pc or if you travel and stay in hotels often enough but don't want to bring your personal laptop with you then I could see this being an alternative. Does anyone see a future in devices like this outside of a niche market? 9. No drivers worked from around may to now none of them have worked, this has been a continuous issue for me that I had to put aside because of college and the fact I was moving The card is new I bought it pre-installed into the computer and when the issue first started occurring I contacted the company who sold me the computer and they sent me a new GTX 970 but again the issues still persisted.
  10. Black Friday is coming soon so if you really want it cheap you may be able to get it so then.
  11. Right so whats happening is that when I go and install the GTX 970 driver whether it be manually or through GeForce it asks me to reboot, to which I do and then when windows loads back up the display is down from 1920x1080 to 800x600 and it can't be changed also when I load up device manager it shows the GTX 970 but with a yellow triangle which shows error code 43 so I end up having to use DDU to uninstall the drivers so I can properly use my computer but only with the Microsoft Display Adapter if anyone knows how I can fix this please tell me ASAP.
