  1. I returned my GTX 1080 and bought a GTX 2060 Super, and I'm still having the same problems. I checked all the DSR boxes, and tried going to 1440p, but everything became small. So I returned back to 1920x1080. I also switched the slider to quality. I talked with a friend of mine, and he mentioned switching from HDMI to Displayport. Could that fix this?
  2. It's a EVGA GTX 1080 SC. Do you think if I got a 1080p monitor with G-sync and a higher refresh rate, my graphics would be better? Like my GTX 1080 is whirring loudly while running Assetto Corsa, but only outputting dog crap graphics. 1440p is a bit out of my price range.
  3. My most graphically-demanding game is Assetto Corsa. I am maxed-out on in-game graphics settings. Yet it looks like I'm playing NFS Shift on the PS3. I also sometimes go on ROBLOX (I hate to admit), but I have included a screenshot. Edit: When playing Assetto Corsa, the GTX 1080 is loud. And I've used this monitor with my R9 380 too. The R9 380 put out marginally better graphics, and ran quieter.
  4. Apparently my monitor doesn't support G-Sync, only AMD Free Sync. Is that why my textures look bad?
  5. I have a SE2717H, and it says "supports AMD's FreeSync dynamic refresh rate technology in the range between 48 Hz and 75 Hz." Is my monitor capable of handling my GTX 1080?
  6. One sec, I think you might've found my problem @i_build_nanosuits Lemme test out the native resolution real quick. Edit: Still nothing dramatic. I still see lines.
  7. Where do I check for output resolution? I know my native resolution is 1920x1080.
  8. I'm glad you brought this up, but I've already fixed that. I see all 4 squares. For some reason, my games look kinda blurry. I read something about bilinear filtering on Nvidia cards, but I don't know if that's the problem.
  9. I've had a Radeon R9 380 since 2015, and I just bought a EVGA GTX 1080 SC today. I've used DDU and control panel to uninstall AMD drivers, and I've installed proper Nvidia drivers from the website. For some reason, everything looks like it's of a slightly lesser quality than when I had my R9 380. I expected my textures to be way better, but now everything looks ever-so-slightly blurry and line-y (almost pixelated). Are my settings messed up or something? The maximum refresh rate on my monitor is 75 Hz. I don't know how to make my graphics any better. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
  10. I can't find my BOINC name there. I thought for sure it was "lazyfortress." However, when I go to the YOYO@home webpage (https://www.rechenkraft.net/yoyo/home.php), my credit shows up to be 915.81.
  11. Lol 4.4GHz base. Found that screenshot online. It's an Intel Jaketown Everest made for high frequency stock trading. I traded for one, but it's arriving in a few weeks unfortunately. I'll be sure to post here once I get it tested out. Currently, I'm running a server with dual E5430s running at 2.66GHz for this BOINC pentathlon. EDIT: How are y'all getting those badges?
  12. I got it to work finally! Screenshot from remote desktop.
  13. Ok I added Yoyo, but I'm not seeing anything in "Tasks" for Yoyo when I have BOINC manager open. Am I doing something wrong?
  14. Yup, I'm running NFS currently on my server. Two E5430s though.
  15. I checked the BOINC homepage, and I just found the system requirements. I'll be looking at Reddit in a bit. Thanks for the suggestions!
