I Just upgraded my CPU and Motherboard, hooked everything back together, and tried to turn it on. At first it seems like it tries to turn on but it turns off for a few seconds then reboots and then continues to turn on and off at a fast rate. I looked up the problem and other people said to reseat the RAM and I did but still no luck. The only thing I can think of is that the motherboard was an open box item from Newegg and maybe something got damaged but I don’t know. I was just seeing if anybody could tell me what else I could try to do or if it is the motherboard.

How would you undervolt the CPU? Sorry if I seem like a noob to this I’ve just never dealt with the whole overclocking genre

So don’t overclock it without doing anything special or getting another motherboard?

Yeah I figured that there were better parts to get I was just wondering if it would be good to overclock with these parts or just keep it stock. Oh and I’m planning on getting an ssd soon

I already have an I3 6100 CPU so I already have an 1151 motherboard but I'm wondering if I should just buy the I5 7500 or spend a bit more and get a R5 1600 with a am4 motherboard

I just built a new computer and I am trying to install Windows 10 on it. I have already set the boot priority to my USB which has windows on it. When I let the computer boot up it gives me a error message saying reboot and select proper boot device. Or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.
