  1. I've tried stack overflow and haven't gotten anything yet. I'm not sure really anyones tried to do this where they have a android device interact with the pc directly but who knows. But hey documentations better than nothing. Client apps easy mode just the connection and the sending of the command
  2. Yeah i was looking at those but i think the normally cheap store(MSY) the cheapest was about $400 without drives. I was using the plex compatibility excel spreadsheet to double check.
  3. So basically want I'm trying to do is send a command to the PC through my phone. If i click a button i want it at this time to lock the PC. This works when on PC but I'm not sure how to send a signal via bluetooth Does anyone have a guide to where to find this, or a solution? Would be much appreciated

  5. Without, i have a 2.5 inch drive lying around and I'm alright to pull the 3.5 inch out of my pc. I'll buy additional in the future and transfer data as i do.
  6. So basically what im looking for is a NAS with 4 bays preferably 2.5 inch but not opposed to 3.5 inch drives. Id like to stay under $200 Australian. The NAS would be used for hone storage between the family and as a plex server. Id also assume the nas would be in raid so i want backup so if anyone can help after the fact thatd be fun?? If people can give Australian sites thatd be great but all good if just the nas's ill go from there ? Edit: So while the budget mentioned above is really low if anyone can suggest NAS's even if they are above that price that'd be great. I don't have the option to build a small pc as a shuttle pc
  7. So basically im looking for a 4 bay 2.5" drive enclosure. But the catch is i want this to be connected via type c or type a or simply usb. I don't want to be connecting this to sata connectors on my board. Any suggestions would be great

  20. Hey guys, So for a current school assignment it's our task to aid a small business who has a 2TB HDD for there storage and is needing to upgrade there storage soon. The business is a processing publishing business so that'd be working with a lot of RAW images, videos etc and documenting these options. The business also only has an up front budget of 1000 AUD I was wondering if some people could drop some links or some advice to some NAS and Cloud options. And if any of you run a small business/business could you give your storage solutions and why you chose them? Currently i found the two cloud services open drive and high tail which seem ok but i'm struggling a little with the NAS options, Thanks to anyone who can help
