  1. Right, i completely forgot the hubs are powered by sata, do you know any at the top of your head that support 11 ARGB connections, im very out of touch with the "newer" tech so im unsure what im looking for. Would it be something like this (Deepcool SC700 ARGB Hub): https://www.amazon.co.uk/DeepCool-UK-SC-Series/dp/B0BWF15P22
  2. Im going crazy, i feel like there's a simple solution to this that i cant find. Currently i got myself a NZXT H9 Flow, which some might know, it got plenty of room for fans, 10*120mm if i count right. My plan was to buy 10 addressable led fans, 1. Be Quiet Light Wings 120mm PWM high-speed variants, i should note that i got a single 2. Cooler Master ELV8 that has an addressable strip on it also. Looking at my manual for my Asus ROG STRIX Z390-F Gaming it tells me: "The addressable RGB header supports WS2812B addressable RGB LED strips (5v/Data/Ground), with a maximum power rating of 3A (5V) and a maximum of 120 LEDs" * I know by description that Light Wings use 18 leds in their 120mm variant, 10 Fans*18 LEDs>120 LEDs, but i'm guessing 120 LEDs is more of "about 120 LEDs" cause they can vary in sizes, causing different consumption. * I could count the wattage of the Light Wings, ELV8 strip and hope it doesn't exceed 3A*5V=15W, but i find nothing in their provided datasheet, besides operational consumption on the fan itself, unless i missed something. So my final thought is if my motherboard simply cant handle this ARGB configuration unless i keep the ARGB to a minor. Or if i missed something and it can handle it or if there is a workaround for this. If there's other fan options i'd gladly hear them if this wont work.
  3. They're honestly very similar but the HS50 does have a 50mm drive when Logitech only has 40mm. Of course a 40mm can be better than a 50mm but seeing these headphones are very alike i would give corsair a go. I previously owned a pair of Logitech g933 and the sounds of Logitech products are very good as they have a big history which isn't the case for Corsair but i know they make a good product from the amount of money. I would honestly give corsair a chance as i've only heard good things from them.
  4. Looks good, did you notice a lot of difference with the thermals?
  5. Interesting, sounds like a hassle though?
  6. Damn... i guess that would have to be on my list then if nothing else would be optimal.
  7. I'm wondering what case i should get because my Phanteks P400s has terrible airflow. I have a 240mm kraken x62 on the front and would prefer to have it there and i would like if i could change it to a push and pull in the future as i only have a push config now. My gpu is 327mm (rtx 2080 gaming x trio) ATX motherboard Corsair rm850x (ATX) 120mm on the back, 2 140mm on the top and 2 140mm fans on the front mounted to the x62 I don't like "cheap" cases and would rather have a case made out of steel than plastic. I do care about the aesthetics but as i can't define "good looking" for everyone i'd still give it a look and a consider. I've been looking at meshify c but it only enables me to have a 315mm gpu and thats without the radiator. I know there's the meshify s2 but it's huge and even if it would fit in id need more fans to keep the temperature as good as a compact case even if it's just some degrees difference. I don't mind a bigger case but this one is huge from what i've seen in a video. The other case i've been looking at is NZXT H700 and it looks beautiful and easy to build in but i don't like the fact that the intakes are only on the sides of the front panel and on the top panel. It only worries me that the airflow won't be that good, but i don't know and would like if anyone could give me information about that. EDIT: Just discovered silverstone rl06, dunno anything about it but the thermals is even better than the meshify but that's as much as i know...
  8. Always love the look of be quiet fans ? My temps are stable now but now it's more up to what i should buy next. Probably the case and a m.2 drive. But i'll figure that out eventually. And thank you for being a huge help. It was nice getting some feedback and some guidance ?. I believe everything will sort itself out now.
  9. It's fun man ?, i wouldn't call myself a expert in manufacturers and i'd rather get whats deemed as best. I hear a lot of things about different manufacturers but i think it's more about finding the right gear and whats good for you. I like that your not scared to switch manufacturers and go out of your comfort zone. I feel too often that people rely on one manufacturer and when they do something bad they act surprised like they only could buy from them. I'd only buy the same manufacturer because of the RGB sync or if they are compatible in a way that impacts me in a good way, but i don't do it because i want my pc at its best rather than aesthetics. Nah, i just noticed one of the motherboard heat sink is barely giving my fans on top space ? so i guess if ill add more fans it will be on the radiator on the front, perhaps ill buy a new case and two fans. Some be quiet pure wings would be nice to have and maybe i could replace the stock nzxt ones too.
  10. That's a lot of money ?. But in the end if you feel satisfied of course its worth it. Forgot to add that it's about 17c outside now but usually stays at 25c or over and my room is extra toasty.
  11. I'll try that too, if i cant succeed with this setup of course. But would it really be much of a difference regarding temps or is it noticeable if i put the rad on the top?
  12. Damn, no nvm, i felt the pump with my hand and its vibrating but i'm going the remove the push pull and move the pulling fans to the top of the case. Worst case would be to buy a new case (pun definitely not intended) Thinking about Fractal design meshify c. Without the case panels on the front and "glass" side i'm running at 36-40c in performance mode
  13. Wait now, i think i know what the problem is, i increased the rpm to max on the pump in cam software but i cant hear a audible difference and i can't hear the pump at all anyways so i think the pump isn't on?
  14. hahaha, yeah seems strange, i think i'll have to fiddle more with the rpms on all the fans cause i don't feel that the air is coming through the 120 mm fan or at least when i put my hand there i barely feel a little breeze. I've changed the paste and it has dropped in temps but by a little if barely unfortunately. in idle it's 43c and i tightened the screws more even this time too and not tighter than the strength of my fingers, so mounting was fine and here is a picture of how much paste i applied: And the temps, although temps do tent to jump around a lot. EDIT: Downloaded speedfan to see if i could fix this but when i look here my cores are cool but when i look on open hardware monitor the temps are in the mid 40's
