Hi, I am looking to buy a new card now that prices are coming down. I am deciding between a gtx 1080ti that i found for around 350 and a titan xp that is the same. Which one is faster Overclocked and stock? I havent found much overclocking benchmarks between the 2. I know they are pretty similar and I am leaning towards the titan simply because i want to own a titan. any help with the decision would be appreciated.

I recently purchased an FX-8370 with a gigabyte 970 motherboard and 16gb of Ram for around $70 with the intention of turning it into a LAN box/ Backup setup. However Once i set it up i noticed the temps get out of hand very quickly which doesnt make sense considering the cooler i have is a Cryorig H7 which should be more than adequate for a non-OC FX chip. Does anyone have any ideas or has seen this I am very concerned/confused considering the "Max Temp" on AMD's site is listed at 61C. Below i will list what i have done prior. Checked the thermal paste and it looks good and seems like it has good pressure. reinstalled windows to try to see if it was due to a bad chipset driver. Tried to manually max out the cooling fan to see if it was not controlling it properly. Reset all motherboard settings. Thanks for any help regarding this. UPDATE: Just to be clear it goes to this temp and throttles this appears to be the limit. setup FX-8370 gigabyte 970-UD3 16gb RAM r9 290 evga 550w PSU cryorig c7 cryorig thermal paste(included with cooler)

LG V40 vs. Samsung Galaxy S9 (or other equivalent)
ChrisL333 replied to ChrisL333's topic in Phones and Tablets
More just looking for longevity. Im still using a gen 1 pixel the only reason im upgrading is because it needs a new battery and if im going to spend $100 for that i might as well just get a new phone. Wireless charging is a nice to have. I dont really care about waterproffness but again its nice. I watch alot of content on my phone when i travel so a nice screen is important. -
LG V40 vs. Samsung Galaxy S9 (or other equivalent)

I have seen that and it is on my list but they are still too expensive comparably. I mean I will be getting better performance on the s9 for sure. But i am thinking about it. Especially once they start popping up on Ebay. That being said i dont play any mobile games so the battery may be better for me. Any other options you can think of? -
Im Looking to buy a used Flagship from last year to save some cash. I am regularly seeing the LG at around $310-$350 on ebay and the S9 is around $250-275. Which should i choose and is there another phone im forgetting to look into? From what i see i like the V40 but im kinda skeptical on their support of the device so im looking for other options. requirements: network: Verizon I want a headphone jack.
