I have a 40oz water bottle and I'm curious if there could be an issue from mixing powdered drink flavouring in the bottle? Could the shaking while full of water cause the joint at the lip to fail prematurely or is there some extra stabilizing structure between the inner section and the outside?

The performance benefit from a Titan is negligible. Better to just go with a 1080ti.

I think the Strix is a more effective cooler than the Armour so it should be a bit quieter.

Yeah, now that I've got a proper server to get rid of the drives in my computer, I'm starting to contemplate getting a tempered glass case and all the bits to actually make it look nice.

kerradeph got a reaction from Hip in How to listen to music with loudspeakers and get gaming sound from headset at once?
If your player has options to change your output then you could set it to output to your speakers and have system sounds going to your headphones. Otherwise most games allow you to set your output, so you could set the operating system sounds to your speakers and then set the game to output to your headphones.

They may work together depending on the protocol but I would not rely on it and would recommend sticking with a single vendor and most likely a single product line.

Shure SM57 is a legend when it comes to micing cabinets, but I think it would make more sense to get SM58 for vocals, no?

If you are on budget, t.Bone MB85 Beta (from Thomann) is a great option too.

I basically do that with my setup. I turn off all the case fans and just leave the pair of radiator fans running at about 350RPM (that's the lowest they'll reliably run at). Quiet enough to barely be heard and keeps it cool even under light load.

They're dropping it because it has mediochre support if it's supported at all by many games. There are solutions for rendering companies as well as from what I've heard they don't need to be in a paired mode as long as they're in the computer, a lot of rendering computers can use them. From the gamers side, it adds cost and complexity as well as the complexity on the design side. I can understand why some people want to have the bragging rights of having 2, 3, or even 4 cards all packed together however for 99.9% of the market that's not needed.

As to the mining, everything is being used. As one card gets marked up due to high demand they'll move to another one with better cost to performance. This has resulted in an overall spike in pretty much the entire GPU market. As to them not being out of stock where you are, where do you live that has easy stock of graphics cards? I imagine a lot of gamers and even more miners would like to know.

PUBG will run like crap on anything? And a gaming laptop isn't really going to have the battery life you want.

Would possibly suggest a Ryzen APU laptop, as it'll be alright at gaming while maintaining pretty good battery life.

And that is exactly why you should just get a reasonable laptop at $1000 or less, or build a $500-600 Ryzen APU desktop and carry a cheap netbook or used laptop with you if needed, do you absolutely need your gaming machine to be portable? As you could build a Vesa Mountable ITX rig and haul a monitor + PC with you whenever there's a lan party? Just a crazy thought.

The Titan XPs would probably be your best bet. They don't seem to have been hit as hard by the mining craze and are often found for cheaper than the inflated 1080 ti costs.
