  1. My switch isn't patched... tempting...
  2. Thanks all, I mounted it down. New problem, now my GPU is the loudest thing in my PC haha. Might water cool it using the NZXT bracket as its currently a blower style cooler...
  3. So I just got my Corsair RM750x and I'm not sure if I should mount it up or down, as when the fans aren't spinning, heat rises and could keep it cooler? maybe? Well it would, but would there be any measurable impact?
  4. How goes the duel-boot? I have considered wetting my feet with that first. My thinking is to have 3 partitions on my SSD, one for Linux, one for windows, and one for files. What partition sizes would you recommend?
  5. Basically he is visualizing Windows 10 through Linux with a GPU pass-through and says there is little to no performance impact for Windows gaming. I am kind of sick of Windows software rot and this looks like a really easy way to nuke the windows installation and load up another. Good idea?
  6. So I have been using Lastpass for years now and have always used Google Authenticator. Recently upgraded from my Galaxy S9+ to the Pixel 4 XL and gawd it was a pain to migrate over all my 2fa accounts... Is using Lastpass's authenticator cloud backup a good idea? It still requires the Lastpass 2fa code but I'm worried about it being a single point of failure, where if somone gains access to my Lastpass account, they also get all my 2fa codes. Even though they would need my Lastpass 2fa code. Am I overthinking this?
  7. I just find it odd it happened after swiching DNS and while I was only one Youtube.
  8. I monitor my computer resourses constantly as they are on my second minitor, after the Trojan was detected, I noticed CPU ramp up.
  9. I decided to switch from Googles DNS to CloudFlare after watching Linus's new video on Floatplane, and with 10 minutes my computer detected and stopped a Trojan. I also did a scan with Malwarebytes and found a bitcoin miner... (Note: I did a scan with Malwarebytes about a week ago and found nothing.) I was only browsing Youtube. Random coincidence?
  10. I bought a new motherboard and the CPU and PSU work fine in it, no random restarts. It seems the board was faulty, being sent back.
  11. Its all stock, nothing has ben changed and I have reset the bios multiple times.
  12. Just tried to boot it to a USB with no drives connected, same issue. I tried another USB with windows on it, same issue.
  13. Already worked it out, it only turns on above a set temperture, you can lower this in the BIOS so it turns on earlier.
