I Am missing Hark, The PC Gamers sing... Any explanation?
  2. You are going to need a case. Anything that can support your setup and compact will be fine. I recommend the CM Elite 110. Also for that amount of drives, you don't need a raid card, the on board RAID on the motherboard will be fine. Also, if you are planning to run in RAID 10 then the 4 2TB option for drives is not going to be very cost effective. 2 4TB drives in RAID 1 will be a lot better cost-wise. Note that the Case will not work with 4 drives so you will need a different case if you are sticking with the RAID 10 setup.
  3. Iv'e Never had a problem with ASUS boards the ASUS PRIME X299-DELUXE has good reviews and is part of their signature line. This has all the bells and whisles and will support your setup. Good luck with your build!
  4. A 750W power supply is just fine for your setup... I have an EVGA 750 G2 and it has held up so far...
  5. If you want a windows key for free, go to a junkyard and find an old laptop with the OS key sticker on it. Take a pic of the code, and its as simple as putting it in to some install you found off the internet. As for the HDD, just slap it in some random pc and boot to the install media. (the pc does not need an os for this) then format the drive and install your operating system.
  6. You can upgrade the CPU I just checked
  7. It honestly depends on what programs that you are using. The i7 has hyperthreading which provides better multitasking, although it costs more.
  8. Eh.. For pro video editing you probably need a workstation with a fair amount of cores (6-10) although for non-professional video editing a 6700K or a 6800K will work just fine. For GPU's, it only really matters if you are using a codec that supports GPU acceleration. For storage you'll want a NAS, but for now two 2TB drives in RAID 1 will do and for an SSD something like an 850 EVO will work. For memory you can do 16-32 GB and that should work, speed doesn't matter but if you are doing long renders than ECC memory will be beneficial. Case and PSU dont reall matter, although your motherboard should work with all other components that you buy, but make sure it is a quality one (Maybe a WS board from ASUS)
