We used to have a custom certificate, which was at some point reset to the default Cloudflare certificate and it made absolutely no difference to anything, so we had no particular desire to change it back.
In firefox, the only way that there would be to tell that there is a difference is to click 4 buttons (padlock, >, more information, view certificate), while in Chrome the certificate details are only accessible through the dev tools. There's really no benefit to anyone (except cloudflare for the extra money) of using a dedicated certificate over the Cloudflare provided ones.

I think they are pretty much the same, but + is a little harder to work with (all my HFS partitions are HFS+, didnt think about that) - i'll look into it, thanks!+

Speaking as a business owner myself... Not always, no.
Unless you sign a waiver of liability, or the store has a walk-in liability waiver then those outlets are probably NOT for customer use.
If a store has neither of those waivers, and you say, electrocute your device and cause it to burst into flames or something, then you could turn around and hold the store itself liable for the damages because there was not something explicitly saying not to use the outlet, or that you take responsibility for using the outlet.

Typically convenience stores, clothing stores, and restaurants do NOT want you charging a device on their grounds because often their insurance won't cover any damages, and you probably haven't signed off on one of those waivers of liability.

The Left is Quick Charge 3, something by qualcomm (who makes the processor for your phone) that enables faster charging if you use that power brick. I believe the one on the right is something to do with power delivery but i'm not sure

To be honest, I think the opposite would be a nice to have.  If you can login through Google, Steam, etc. why have a local password as well?  No matter how secure, any additional method of entry is just going to make it slightly weaker.

Checked mine, and i could control all fans. But not having temp based curve is big thing if this would be replacing Speedfan and GPUs own software. Like I have my GPU fan running at 30% speed while idle/low load. I don't hear it, but when it ramps for gaming load to 45%, I can hear it. Switching between the two would get annoying pretty quick. Same goes with CPU cooler and case fans. I did use OpenHardwareMonitor for a while with case fans. But since they are 3pin, options were full speed or half speed. Speedfan allows curve on 3pins too.

They come on many different sizes you can measure the interior pin to get the mm diameter of the connector, however not sure if you may be able to power everything off of one power bank it may require one for each device. If you going say camping for something like this I would instead recommend to get a portable generators like those Honda units they are very good.

kind of - but failing so many times in a row was not like the usual and expected "hickup"

i also found some information while searching a solution for a different and seemingly unrelated problem with the resident evil 7 PC demo and vcredist

i learned that there has been a bug affecting windows update causing it to either not find new updates at all or failing to manually install them on almost every attempt to do so (taking forever on installation without any progress.)

and i guess this is what happened here because i tried installing IE 10 manually and the installation was just sitting there and never completing

any attempt to repair or reinstall vcredist also failed the same way

both seem to somehow rely on the windows update function for their installer.

it also looks like no updates have been found or installed AT ALL on this computer since i set it up about a month ago (even though i had automatic update enabled)

now if it really was because of said bug then that would explain why IE 10 was not installed already and why security essentials failed to update so many times.

i fixed it by downloading THIS update pack (german website) wich installs 5 microsoft updates in a specific order.

it failed the first time like it failed on IE and VC but i got it installed on the second try.

after that, installation of vcredist finished successfully in a matter of seconds, so did any other manual installations and windows update immediately found and installed a ton of stuff like it has been sitting under a rock for weeks (if the bug prevented it from finding any updates at all, it probably did sit under a rock all the time)

Let's just keep it kosher and we may live.  Usually it'd be locked already if it was going to get locked.

It can be tricky getting your head around Linus's do-as-I-say-and-not-as-I-do way of presenting himself but try and think of this forum as one thing and the videos as another separate thing. You know, one is an online community and one can be argued to be a work of art.

Try the Moto E or Moto G. They are pretty stock android with minimal bloatwear, and all under $200 from what i can see on amazon.com - my gran has one and loves it, ok photos and battery lasts enough for her
