  1. Do you have a budget? Upgrading GPU would be cheaper most likely as if you upgrade the CPU to something modern like ryzen, you would need new mobo and ram as well. However, you could upgrade to something like an fx 8300 which you might be able to get used for really cheap. If you upgrade just the GPU you might find the FX 4300 holding you back.
  2. b350 chipset also supports OC. not like intel where only one chipset for a socket can overclock.
  3. I run a 6700k at stock clocks and the 212 evo works great. I upgraded from an i5 4590. even having to switch out mobo, and ram, it was a very worthwhile upgrade . I recommend it.
  4. I would offer him 300$ as he is underselling what they have there.
  5. Honestly just wait until monday, not sure if the card would even power on with just 1 power connector.
  6. what about Nikky V+Denis Vs Taran and Colton?
  7. Thank you all for the suggestions. After looking up some of them I think i want to go with either the Shadowrock2 or the darkrock3 from bequiet https://www.amazon.com/quiet-BK013-SHADOW-ROCK-Cooler/dp/B007VOXDJS/ref=sr_1_22?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486748154&sr=1-22&keywords=be+quiet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HPX7IKU/ref=psdc_11036281_t1_B007VOXDJS I'm leaning towards the darkrock, but I'm a bit concerned about ram clearance i don't have very tall ram, but the 212 evo Front fan does get pretty close to the 1st dim slot on my mobo, I currently have slots 2 and 4 populated but i would like to keep the option open to populate all 4 in the future. Do you think the shadow rock would still offer pretty good cooling? I'm honestly just not a fan of AIOs. I know they are pretty reliable but the fear of a leak is just something I'd rather not have in the back of my mind. Thank you all for the input and suggestions.
  8. Hello All, So I currently have a 6700k and I am running a cooler master 212 evo in push pull with some corsair sp120s. It cools it decently well, 72 c was the max I got during stress testing in aida64. When gaming and streaming it sits in the mid to low 50s. I'm running at stock speeds be cause really, I haven't needed anything faster. But I think I would like a change of pace. The system is a bit loud under load, but i usually have a fan on in my office anyway , but I'm thinking a bigger heat sink would let me get around the same performance at a lower fan speed. I was looking at the cryorig h7 but I'm open to other suggestions as well. I have a black and white themed build so something neutral or one of those colors would be nice. Thanks in advance for any suggestions
  9. I guess reinstalling now a days isn't as bad as it once was. pretty much back up and running, now just reinstalling programs. Thanks again Everyone
  10. Ok Im gonna take the plunge and just reinstall windows Thank you everyone for your input
  11. I have not, I honestly don't even know what task scheduler is to be honest.
  12. So I have a fairly new windows 10 pc, Built a few months ago, and it has a weird thing where it seems randomly, maybe once a day or once every other day, where the cmd prompt window will open and close in like less than half a second, like its barely enough for me to notice it. it never happens while gaming, but when I am browsing the web mainly. Like its literally just the opening and closing window animations, super fast. I have malware bytes premium active protection. I have ran full scans with malwarebytes, Windows defender, and even download avast to run a full scan and boot time scan, they all found nothing. Also ran Tdsskiller, Adwarecleaner, and junkware removal tool. , again they all found nothing. Feel a bit insane here. Is my computer clean? Any insight would be much appreciated. I would like to avoid doing a reinstall of windows, but i have my data backed up, so that is an option, just don't want to go through installing programs again etc. thanks in advance for any help !
  13. this is pretty cool, but i could never have it, my cat would knock it over in a heartbeat or try and sit on it. would be cool to paint it and put an acrylic box around it or something
  14. Thank you for the tip, I tried reinstalling chrome and that did nothing, but it seems it was google docs causing the frequent spinning, ever since i disabled the google docs and google docs offline extension it has gone back to normal, occasionally spinning when i would load a new page but its much faster and only lasts a split second.
  15. Hello , When using chrome it will sometimes have the spinning wheel on my mouse cursor pop up randomly, it usually happens when i open a new tab, but it seems to have gotten more frequent lately. I have run several scans using windows defender and malware bytes and they do not detect anything. I've narrowed it down to chrome as it doesn't happen if I use edge. Its more of an annoyance than anything I suppose, but any thoughts on how to fix this?
