PopsicleHustler got a reaction from Corrupted in Ultimate boomer law - "joke" bill bans phones for people under 21
USA.... You can own firearm at an age of 14, but cannot own a god damn phone before turning 21.

The argument "X people use Y thing while driving is causing accidents" can go so deep, you will need a flashlight to see.

Another point is "suicide prevention". Question - Where do you draw the line between phone and a tablet? Or better - What is a smartphone? This reminds me about our ridiculous "TV License" law here in Ireland. It states that all TV owners must have a license, but it doesn't really specify what a TV is. It only outlines its basic functions that require you to get the license.

So same applies to smartphones. It doesn't specify what a "smartphone" is. I can easily go on Amazon and find a decent tablet under 10 inches that works exactly like a smartphone, but isn't classified as one.

Seeing how some adults drive cars under the influence of alcohol, maybe we should ban booze from anyone with a valid driving license?

Basically @GenericFanboy explained everything in great detail. To have more heat transfer, you need more surface area. CPU die is incredibly small and cannot provide enough area for water to cool it.

You would still need a fin stack attached to a CPU die to get somewhat decent cooling. Think of it as reverse radiator. More area means water has more time to give of the heat. Same for taking up the heat. More area = more time for water to absorb the heat and carry it away. Its not a matter of "how much stuff is in between."

PopsicleHustler got a reaction from LauriHimself in How about this build?
And why is that? I mean performance-wise. He said he wants a gaming build. This setup will do 1080p 144hz, 1440p 60/144, even 4k 60 is not a problem for this build.

You think if he got 3950x with X570 Aorus extreme it would've given him considerably more FPS?

PopsicleHustler got a reaction from LauriHimself in How about this build?
He is talking about RAM speed. Ryzen 3000 CPUs work best with 3600Mhz RAM. 3200Mhz is the minimum recommended RAM speed for Ryzen 3000 CPUs.

Depends on the resolution of course. But at 1440p it will easily play games for 3 or even more years.
