PopsicleHustler got a reaction from mrchow19910319 in Ultrawide for productivity.
I don't know, I use my ultrawide for CAD and SolidWorks, it works great. Can't see how using 2 monitors would be better with bezel in the middle.

PopsicleHustler reacted to Master Disaster in so what do you think the series after 9th gen from intel is going to be called?
9000 - whatever % of market share Intel lose to AMD \ 14 (cause 14nm) = the answer.

Mouse Razer Deathadder chroma. I use it since 2015 and never had issue with it. Its very comfortable, sensor is spot on, and buttons feel nice.
Keyboard Razer Blackwidow Chroma. Great clicky keys, solid feel. great RGB.
And before you say it - No, I'm not Razer fanboy, just so happens that Razer products suit my needs.

PopsicleHustler got a reaction from FunkmastaFlex in Freesync on an Nvidia Build
It all seems very dodgy. You buy FreeSync panel, then 2nd GPU just for that, then do some questionable configurations to make it work. All in all I would spend some more cash on a Gsync panel and be 100% sure that it works instead of buying 2nd GPU and praying to whatever higher being you believe in for it to work with FreeSync.

You're most likely bottlenecked by your RAM.

PopsicleHustler got a reaction from hconverse02 in What would you upgrade to?
If you got a budget, go for 1080 or 1080ti. 1070 might not cut it. I recently bough GTX1080 and its shines in ultrawide 1440p. It will be a big upgrade from GTX970 because I upgraded from RX480 which is about the same as GTX970, and performance jump is huge.

PopsicleHustler got a reaction from Daniel Stautland in Cheap build
As stated above, FX8000 series is old and outdated. FX8350 will heavily bottleneck 980 or 1060. Trust me, I had FX8350 running in my old build at 5Ghz and it wasn't able to catch up with RX480 Nitro+. I suggest saving more money and going with Ryzen 3 or 5. Black Friday isn't far away, you might get some nice deals.
