I use Asus ROG Sheath. Its 900mm x 400mm, cloth surface.

Why in the hell would you buy new GTX1080 for nearly 600gbp? That's a terrible value.

    It will work fine though.

Finally got around to replacing my old Z11+ with something modern. Picked Meshify C out of many options and was not disappointed. Case is actually smaller compared to Zalman Z11+, yet fits everything a lot better thanks to a smart design.
Also, I've injected it with healthy dose of  be quiet! Silent Wings 3s so it's totally inaudible when at idle and whisper quite when gaming.

I had my concerns about tinted panel. But even without LED strips, it looks good so far. I will probably add some LED strips 8nnthe future.

PS I'm in the process of moving into a new apartment, hence the mess on the back round

It isn't, but even 8600k is miles better for high refresh rate gaming. I personally gained over 40FPS in BF5 by going from 1600 to 8700k. Same in other games like Origins, League of Legends and Witcher 3.  In Lol I had massive FPS increase from 100 to 200+ by moving to Intel.

Pretty much anything. From RX590/1160ti for 1080 60Hz to RTX2080ti for 4k. This CPU can handle everything.

It should work fine if you power everything through molex and use CPU header as a control point .

Yeah, it's a huge bottleneck actually, you won't go anywhere near 144 FPS.

The 8350, a CPU that can be had for like $40, and a $700 graphics card? Yes that's a bottleneck.

This CPU is terrible, it even bottlenecks last gen mid range cards like 1060/RX580 etc.

PopsicleHustler reacted to toasty6776 in Shutting PC down using power button. Good or bad?
Shouldn't be a problem since you're just telling Windows to shut down when you're pressing the power button (as long as you're not holding it down). Thereby all applications can be closed gracefully and you shouldn't run into any issues.

I wouldn't count on it. Ryzen 3 won't out of nowhere be able to overclock to 5Ghz+ with mad single more IPC

PopsicleHustler got a reaction from TopHatProductions115 in What edition/ version of windows 10 is best for gaming ?
I use Win 10 Pro 1809. All games that I play run smoothly. BF1/BF5, Witcher 3, Sekiro: SDT. Played Anthem for like 20 hours, never had any performance issues. I had my concerns when switching from 7 to 10, but once I installed it and got familiar with it I realized that its not that bad.

For whatever reason I couldn't make League run on Ryzen at all properly. I had R5 1600 overclocked to 3.9 and still had major FPS drops in LoL with GTX1080. My average was 90-100 with dips to low 40s. As soon as I switched to 8700k - boom I have stable 200+FPS with the same GPU. Same for CS GO.
