R5 2600 isn't particularly good for games that require strong single-core performance or high refresh rate gaming in general.

Most MMORPGs in my experience require super high single core performance. Black Desert, GW2, Aion and even WoW. And since R5 2600 doesn't have that, it won't run those games smoothly. If you want good performance, you will need 3600 with high overclock applied to it.

PopsicleHustler reacted to Nicnac in Do I have to take apart my case fans to paint them?
I wouldn;t recommend painting them. It will make the fans unbalanced and increase noise and wear on the bearings all leading to earlier failure of the fan.

You have made my mind up. I am not into overclocking and won't be for the foreseeable future, the research I had done had me leaning to the Gigabyte. I think you may also be right about the RGB, it does a look a little complicated as well as expensive. I will wait for a while and just install some Be Quiet Silent Wings 3 for now. Also agree on the SSD's.

Thank you for the advice & the feedback, really appreciate it!

1: It depends. Gigabyte makes higher quality X570 boards compared to Asus. But Asus BIOS is much better to work with if you're into high end overclocking.

2: @Noah0302 is totally right, high quality RGB fans are very expensive. I would also add installation difficulty. You will need dedicated controllers + Software to control all of it. So if you're willing to spend 200+ euros on a set of RGB fans, be prepared to spend a decent amount of time connecting a metric ton of wires.  Going with cheap RGB fans isn't really an option because you need a silent system.

3: Yes, you've selected an overkill. You can easily get away with 550W PSU in a single GPU system. But then again, I'm also running 750W EVGA PSU only because I got a mad deal on it.

4: I would get SSDs only. Mechanical drives will create noise which you obviously don't need in your recordings.

PopsicleHustler got a reaction from dreamcast4599 in what load line level do i use for overclock
You usually want to set it in the middle. With 5 levels, I wouldn't go above 3 with that voltage because there is a chance that your vcore could spike way over 1.4 and kill your chip.

I think it's just what you think you enjoy. Especially since you never played those (or ones that are good at it), so how can you really know?

@PopsicleHustler already answered a part of it almost exactly as I would.
@Crunchy Dragon took care of the other bit.
Many others gave a lot of good answers as well.
I will add: imagine something made you furious during the day. Then you come back home and launch some highly competitive PvP title. Let's make it worse, Team PvP, like some moba, CS:GO etc. Tell me, what will happen?
On the contrary, what would happen if you launched ABZU, for example?
And now that I look at it, you only mentioned single player/1v1 PvP games/modes. Let that sink in. Reflect on it. What does that tell about yourself? When you come to some conclusion, check out the first question I asked and answer it again.

Oh, and to shake your world a bit as well: going by your logic, there's no point in getting good at the game to beat others as well. Maybe apart from massaging your own ego...
It's not really replay value that you go for in those games, hope you see that now.
That. Take a look at this sentence once again and think what it really means. There's nothing more to it than that.
I bet you get it, especially since you have an anime-like avatar, so I guess you do watch shows. What's the point, you would ask, right?

Notice how you decided to answer the one that's easiest for you to address and left others unmentioned?
People decide to see what they want to see. It's easier to stay true to your beliefs rather than really question and reevaluate them.
Try. Notice how there's a lot that holds true in the answers to questions @PopsicleHustler asked.

A whole lot subjective, Vitamanic, wouldn't you say? I'd even go as far as to say narrow-minded.
People are different. Had different upbringing, environment, life experiences, priorities, desires and we could keep on listing...
To simply put it: some people need more interaction with humans, others not so much. And either is fine.
Also: notice how he said he prefers PvP games over single player ones. Isn't it a bit of the opposite (while thinking about someone's character) to prefering to be alone? To prefering a lack of interaction with people?

What kind of a question is this? Its like asking - Why would you read a book? Or why would you watch a movie? Or why would you go on a vocation to Italy to take a few pictures if you can use Google Maps.

Or better - Why would I sweat trying to learn how to play a competitive game if I can just watch E-sports stream of top players duking it out?
