i think you are trying to use Voltage offset which will only let you go up. If you put it in manual mode then you should be able to input any value you want

Trust me, as someone that has over 200hrs in the game, it is worth the money. After a few a few hours of learning the mechanics of the game you wont be getting shot in the face in the first few minutes and it is a lot of fun

Universal stuff like this is actually very universal, they will have a variety of threaded mounting holes that allow a great deal of flexibility

As long as you use the same fans then they will recive the same signal and spin at the same RPM.

I personally use this one from rosewill and it works great.

Your 1060 is being bottlenecked by the cpu. There is most likely nothing wrong with your motherboard, you are just running pretty old hardware. I would recommend a 7700k or 7600k depending on your budget, and whatever z270 board

No, it doesnt matter what the name is, unless your router/access point has a built in seamless hand off feature your device will stay on one network until it fully loses signal and disconnects and then it will try to connect to a different network

I would recomend against the MSI Duke Card, I have heard some bad things about it interms of cooling but the gigabyte card should be fine https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125880&cm_re=gtx_1080-_-14-125-880-_-Product

I would recomend haveing the H60 in the back with a 120mm on it obviously, and then 2 120mm in the front and thats it. No point in adding extra fans that you dont need, it will only add noise

because you CAN use these sticks for a quad channel setup (if you buy another 2x kit)

LeviBW got a reaction from TheNaitsyrk in CrystalDiskInfo shows 3 errors with the drive. What to do?
Since all the issues are with Bad sectors what I would recommend is to just format the drive in windows, but make sure  to uncheck the Quick format option, without quick format windows will check all the sectors and hopefully correct your problem.

Doing a non-quick format may take a very long time depending on the size of your drive so be patient but it should fix your issues

if windows detects that the device is different then it will not try to run it on the existing drivers and will just leave it alone, so you should be fine

I would go for the GPU unless you are actually notice a bottle neck because of your 8GB ram, Just gaming and light other tasks will prob not use 8GB of ram so you are most likely fine.

To clarify rack or blade or tower server...

A rack server usually is put into a Server Rack.

A Blade Server usually needs a case to be connected to, put in to. That then is again a rack mount.

A tower server is just like a PC in a tower case, just with server hardware and failover.

Rack server can be a powerful machine, far more powerful than a blade server. And usually it's cheaper, because a Blade needs a chassy to be put into. They don't run without their "holding case". If not using a NAS/SAN, expanding a rack mount server is easier. just add hdds if needed and expand the array. Blades haven't got much room for expansion but getting another additional blade for storage for example.

I would recommend a rack mounted solution because as long as you get a cabinet hat is big enough it is a lot easier to expand in the future

LeviBW got a reaction from ProjectBox153 in What monitor should i use for gaming
Are you wondering what monitor to buy or what monitor to use that you already have.

I would recomend using the 1080p display and just see how high you can OC it, Maybe you can get 70 or 75hz if you are lucky. I had an old 1080p Dell monitor from 2007 that was 60Hz and I was able to get it up to 85Hz

    @Bustapalapeno @Shimejii @Zando Bob
I started testing the performance impact of recording and figured out what was going on. Basically the fps while recording is exactly the same as in the data I have above. You do see an FPS dip when you hit the Start and Stop button if the save location is on the same drive as the game you are playing is running off of.

As long as you change your temp file location and save location to a drive that is different from the one you are playing your games off of, you will see the exact same performance as I have in the spread sheet.

I am very confused about this Kaby Lake launch, from what I understand Intel has announced the 7th Gen chips but you can't buy them yet. Doesn't anyone know when they will be available for sale? So sources say that none of the 7th gen chips will be available for purchase till the end of January and some sources say that everything except for the 7350k will be for sale this week.
