  1. Enter following equation into the Google Searchbar: 1.2+(sqrt(1-(sqrt(x^2+y^2))^2)+1-x^2-y^2)*(sin(10*(x*3+y/5+7))+1/4) from -1.6 to 1.6 Happy Holiday
  2. I would like to see the trend going to smaller phones again. I think when you can make a phone the size of an iphone 5 but with better usage of the real estate (smaller bezels) that would be the dream. My galaxy s2 is max size for me. When i see friends with xperia z or sthn ... it looks ridiculous.
  3. Well I tried that already but it but the jack locks in place quite strongly. I guess I try this glue ting tomorrow and if that doesnt work i have to figure out a work around with a DAC or sthn
  4. The other day as it sometimes happens I tripped over an 3,5mm cable that was connected from my front audio jack with my Bose speakers. Luckily nothing happened to the speaks as the cable seemed to be in the right angle just to slip out, but it the other end was not so lucky. The tip was stuck while the rest was ripped out => The tip of the 3,5mm is now stuck in my headphone jack. The case is a define R3. I heard a couple of people suggesting drilling in a small whole but i don't have the equipment for that or using super glue on a flat nail or sthn and pull it out. Anyone experience with that ? Is it easy to change the whole front header thing ? As even if I get that thing out it might be defected in some way. thanks for your help
  5. Could you be a bit more specific or recommend a site that offers keys for a good price that work ?
  6. I want to buy Titanfall and i saw a couple of sites offering keys between 20-25€. I live in Germany and only use Proxy in my browser. Are there any things that i have to worry about when buying a cheap russian key ? (despite the language i heard that can be fixed after installation)
  7. thats true, i just kind of thought of him as a guy that wouldn't be quite satisfied knowing he could have the best for a couple dollars more and not the almost best.
  8. Well the professional scene of counterstrike moved because of the 2nd point i mentioned, the marketing. The tournaments weren't created for fun by demand of player but as a marketing strategy. That then professionals move on to that makes sense doesn't mean its better than 1.6 though. And why you think CoD doesn't give options for skill is cause you project your picture of a skillbased game onto it and it doesnt fit. That doesnt mean that when I play with mates against other teams it requires less skill. As I said it depends on how you play the game. It just happens to be that that the community of CoD contains a lot more casual players, and the average game doesnt show a lot of depth.
  9. Nobdoy complains about CS:GO being the exactly same game and having poor graphics etc. A FPS just is an FPS there are a lot of games that I enjoyd so much that I wouldnt mind if they would do the exact same game with a new engine or just add some new features... if its worth the money thats questionable. Guild Wars for example, loved this game...aamazing. Guild Wars 2 .... meeh never touched it after 500h. They tried to improve and innvoate so hard that it had hardly anything to do with the previous game and the Title "World vs World and some Dragons" would be more suitable.
  10. Yea I watched the finals... quite some entertainment. And I have playtime in 1.6 3000+ hours and I don't think much of GO. The popularity of a game has not that much to do with its Quality, if that was true one would think that Twilight was the highest form of literature and Justin Bieber the most talented musician. The success of Battlefield and CS:GO are mainly cause by long lasting tradition in the gaming scene of its predecessors and the huge amounts of money invested in marketing. Also low skill ceiling ? I call rubbish on that. its easy to get into it and doesn't overwhelm you with its complexity that is true but the skill lvl one can achieve in a game does not depend on the game but its players. Multiplayer Titles are so often judged by people that haven't even played it or just little of it. Its like me saying the Game Of Thrones books suck when i haven't even read them or just little of it and when you still don't like it in the end it is not because it is objectively bad but just because it doesn't appeal to you. I hated on MW2 myself as I was a fan of CoD4 and didn't like it. But after a friend that spend a long time in this game showed me how to play it and where its advantages are I started liking it. But stubborn donkeys will always be stubborn donkeys
  11. Then I would go for a 780ti and a 250GB SSD as a boot-drive. The thing is nobody knows what the future brings and calling a build futureproof is very optimistic rather safe some money now than go uber overkill and adequately upgrade when needed. For example in 2-3 years Games are released that push your 780ti to its limits and then you can sell that + use the saved money and invest into a volta GPU or something like that. Whatever is good at that point in time.
  12. I feel like you wanna upgrade just for the sake of spending money ? If you can specify what you are doing with your PC we can give much more helpful advice. Most useful upgrade would be a SSD though as it improves overall PC experience (boottime, launchtime etc. etc.) And even you 570 got already pretty decent GPU performance. Im on a 560ti and its ok.
  13. I play more CoD than BF right now, as my friends that i used to play Bf with have all left the gaming scene.
  14. First of all I own and played every BF and CoD (not ghost though, only got 4gb of ram) and of course a lot of other fps Games so Im not defending Ghosts but trying to explain that a lot of hate that has been around the entire series is unnecessary. I'm trying to be as objective as I can here, though pleasure is hardly measurable and every person has a different understanding of it and therefore different expectations. - Number one complaint people have is the lack of innovation and repetitiveness: Ok so that is true, cant deny that. But witch series has been very innovative with its predecessors ? In my Opinion not very many. But Im OK with that. When I enjoy something for as long as I can do I want it to be different next time or just more of what I already enjoy with little bits of change here and there. If you want a different game yo shouldn't raise the digits behinds its title but brand it as suck... a different game. So why do people expect a different game when the title hasn't changed ? - Another complaint a see a lot is the lack of technical advancement: That is also true. Technically the CoD series has not improved a lot over the last couple of years. But again does that make the game worse? It doesn't change the game mechanics and if you want to experience sate of the art graphical fidelity one wouldn't go for a game that is known not to offer that. So obviously why so many people hate on CoD is not the game itself but everything around it. Its the disappointment of a company that once made huge steps forward. We want it to be perfect soo bad especially because so many people play it it must be good. And as we all know every sudden success is followed by hate and envy. It happens to Apple, Justin Bieber, xbox etc. and CoD. People might get the Idea that i think CoD is good as it is... no it has it flaws its not perfect at all and especially the monetary system behind it and the focus on console development is really bad. But fact is a lot of people and I enjoy the fast paste game mechanics that Call Of Duty offers. You can feel incredible playing it like only few other games do. Being able to totally annihilate the enemy team mostly on your own ending up with stats like 60:2 is an adrenalin rush and then being called wallhacker/aimbotter is the best reward you want for knowing the map by heart all the possible spawns and paying attention to every indicator of hostile activity. Of course it doesn't require tactics like CS 1.6 or has opportunities for teamplay like Battlefield. But when you accept it for what it is its a good Game. Now go tell me how much BF is better and how much more it has improved and how EA is a better publisher than Activation..... Oh wait its not PS: Why are all the BFBC2 servers dead ? It is so much more fun than BF3&4
  15. Important is how many amps the 12V rail offers. Blindly suggesting 600w doesnt help at all, even a 600w PSU can damage your parts when its low quality. And what are you planning on oding by taking your card to a friend ? If you just want to boot into windows it'll be fine but extended gaming sessions .... idk
