    Hi everyone. I installed vlc and tried for days to play media over the ftp server. But it failed. I then installed a ftp client and in this case I make use of file zilla. It looks like Windows Explorer. Once connected Filezilla to the server. I simply drag and drop my media on vlc. Everything plays fine. I did not make any adjustments to vlc setting. (clean install)
