  1. Hey guys, bought a Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro through Straight Talk a while back. Now I'm running low on space as I'm playing some large games on it and still need space for music and such (16GB internal). So today I purchased a Samsung EVO 128GB microSDXC card, however, I can't seem to get my phone to do anything I want it to with the card. I can't find any settings to tell it I want apps to install to the SD card from now on if they can be, can't tell it I want photos and video to go there, can't tell it anything really. Finally managed to find out I can move like one app over to it manually after a lot of digging however it wouldn't let me move anything that made sense like my Steam phone app (which my brother can move his Steam app to SD on his Note 8). I'm starting to get disparaged and wonder why I even bought this SD card if I can't put anything on it. There's not even an option to make the SD card be used as internal storage. Using Android 6.0.1 if that matters. Any help is appreciated.
  2. This is the kind of feedback I was looking for, thank you for your input. Pretty sure I'm going to go with the 9590, but wanted input from both sides of for and against VS. the 7600K. I'm also really glad you're speaking from personal experience not just from assumptions. Thanks again for your input and I'm looking forward to hopefully others chiming in with helpful input as well.
  3. I have the mobo for the i5 and the mobo for the 9590 already, the only things I would be upgrading are CPU and RAM (from 8 to 16GB). Not into buying a new MOBO and such when I can just get a CPU instead. Thanks for trying I guess.
  4. Didn't really answer me. My ONLY options, which are the only two I'm considering, is the FX 9590, and the i5 7600K. Again, all I want to do, is play games on max settings at 1080P and get 60FPS (the max my monitor will show me and I'm asking if the 9590 will get me there with 16GB of RAM and a 1060 6GB. I know for a fact the 9590 will outperform the i5 in emulators which is also something I enjoy dabbling in, which is another reason I'm considering it. I don't, and I don't want Ryzen even if I could afford it. I want either a 9590, or a i5 7600K. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm guessing somewhere in my first paragraph I didn't make myself clear as to what I wanted, I'll try again now: I am HAVE a Intel Pentium G4600 (Kabby Lake) dual core 3.6GHz, I WANT either a FX 9590 or a i5 7600K, those are the ONLY 2 processors I am considering. I ONLY will be gaming at 1080P, I ONLY care about hitting 60FPS, and I will have 16GB of RAM and a 1060 6GB. If people could respond with which one of those two they would go with, and why, that would be great.
  5. Hey guys, looking to upgrade soon as I have a GTX 1060 6GB coming in this week. I have a Intel Pentium G4600 dual core 3.6GHz right now and 8GB of RAM. I can either upgrade to a Intel i5 7600K and 16GB of RAM, or I also am able to switch systems and go with a AMD FX 9590 with 16GB of RAM. I only care about gaming in 1080. I have a 1080 monitor, not changing it any time soon, it will only show me 60 FPS, and I am very happy with it. As I also am interested in emulators and roms the 9590 has a huge appeal to me with more cores and much higher clock speeds. However, I'm looking at YouTube videos and people are saying with a 9590 you can't even hit 60 FPS @ 1080P on very high+ settings on games like GTA 5 which makes no sense as my brother plays at max with his 8350. So if I go the 9590 will I be able to play games like GTA 5, Witcher 3, etc. on max 1080P with 60FPS? All advice is welcome and I am grateful for. Please do not hit me with "go Intel" or "X processor is shit" etc. Please if you give an opinion tell me why you believe that. Thanks in advance guys.
  6. After taking in your recommendations I think I will go with this, I'm really sold on this case. 7. Alright, so I am going to build my first gaming rig. I've been doing a lot of research the last few weeks and I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and start buying parts. I've put together a build on PC Part Picker, but I still have a few questions with little confidence as this will be my first build. First, let's get my goals and usage out of the way. I will be using a single 42" 1080P TV as my monitor in HDMI. I have no interest in going past 1080P at max settings in games. I intend on going into 1080P @ max settings and would like to see 60FPS minimum. I will not need peripherals such as mouse and Keyboard as I have gaming ones setup already. I also already have a copy of Windows 10 ready. My biggest concern with this build is upgrading, so my biggest question would be will I be able to easily upgrade this rig later? Better processor such as a i5-6600K if I ever need it, another 8GB stick of RAM so I can stream, etc. I also need to know if anything is overkill as I'm not interested in going past 1080P @ max settings now and in the future. Also, I only have an SSD selected as I already have an extra HDD and an External as well. Here is my current planned build. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/XqB4NN CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor $110.99 CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler $34.88 -$10.00 Motherboard: ASRock H170M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $74.99 Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory $38.99 Storage: A-Data Premier SP550 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $39.98 GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB 6GT OC Video Card $249.00 Case: Deepcool KENDOMEN Red ATX Mid Tower Case $44.99 PSU: Rosewill 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply $69.99 -$10.00 Base Total: $663.81 Mail-in Rebates: -$20.00 Shipping: $9.98 Total: $653.79 Any advice, critiquing, etc. is greatly appreciated.
