So after trying that the results were inconclusive due to the fact that it only game like 20 fps so the feeling of the games were terrible anyways. I've noticed that when I first start playing games it isnt so bad but after a few matches and the cpu has been put under load for a bit thats when its hard to aim and the stuttering starts to happen etc. Would you assume this i a direct issue with hardware then? Either cpu or gpu? Also in certain shadows/fine line areas of maps I get a weird but very very very subtle white flicker if im moving, but not while running. At this point Its probably just best to start replacing things since I just cant figure it out and it cant be software related since I clean installed etc, right?

Should I try and remove gpu and see what dedicated graphics on my cpu does? I have an i7 4770k

Yes I did all the drivers etc. Like I said I have tried nearly everything haha. I have purchased a new set of 32 gb ram. A new mobo. new storage drives. It must be either the gpu or cpu I assume?

Clean install did not solve problem. Does that mean its hardware related? Have a feeling it could be my gpu is starting to shit the bed since it always is stuttering/laggy. Maybe thats why I think my mouse is messed up as a result?

Can you elaborate on bare essentials? Also I can't just wipe them clean I have several thousand gb of photographs and video footage that I can't simply delete and really wouldnt know how to go about putting elsewhere in the meantime? Unless you have suggestions?

I currently have windows 8.1, would you recommend I upgrade to 10? I tried to do the free upgrade forever ago but it gave me all sorts of issues such as not allowing internet access etc so I reverted.

Can you link me to a vid step by step on how to clean install etc please? I will try another monitor as well. Although I am worried it may not be a good test since its 60 hz and my monitor is 144 so It will feel sluggish by nature after several years of using it.

Nothing that stood out to me when checking that. It says it only read it on my ssd. Would it have downloaded elsewhere or no? Seems my drivers all tend to go there by default.

I have been having issues with my computer for serveral months in regards to aim and the fluidity of games. I will make a list of things I have done so I don't get suggestions I have already tried. It has been about 8 months since it first occurred and I can't figure it out and seemingly have tried everything. Any help would be endlessly appreciated. Thank you. I will note that the problem first started around the time I first used a audiotechnica at2020, I later removed the mic from my computer but it did nothing anyways and since there arent any drivers that are installed from it(I don't believe anyways) I dont see how that could be it. Alas, the list. One other thing, to describle the problem. It always feels like my hand is a half second or so behind what is actually happening on screen. I thought it may be ram, bought a new set of 32 gb. No fix. Thought it could be bad usb on motherboard, replaced mb. No fix. Thought it could be mice, I have about four now and none of them function properly. No fix. Tried to fresh reinstall windows, maybe I should give this another go? Its been a while. Tried to lower monitor from 144 to every possible hz. No fix. Markc in registry. No fix. Took overclock on all gear off. No fix. Purchased new drive and installed games on serveral different ones. No fix. I have tinkered with some files but I no longer recal what they were. People said it may help, but never did. Turned off powersaving mode on usb roothub. No fix. Reinstalled every driver for mice/gfx/mb/cpu, but I'd be welcome to know if there are anything that may help in specific to try again. Vsync on/off. No fix. My theories are that its either software related(which im not very knowledgeable in) so ideas are always welcome. Or that my cable from monitor to computer is trash? Not providing accurate response times etc. Cable is DVI. Or that my outlet isnt providing adequate power anymore for some reason/same for psu. Although I seriously doubt this. Ive actually purchased a new mouse pad as well. Forgot to mention that. All mice that I own(Mionix castior, zowie ec1a, g500s, and g502) have worked on several steelseries qck pads.
