  1. I'm not sure about the fx 8350 as i don't really have knowledge on AMD's side, but if you can get your hands on Sandy/Ivy Bridge CPUs you should be fine. 2600k or 3570k should be fairly cheap now if bought used and they are still pretty damn good. Even haswell/devils canyon as they are on the older side now aswell, but i'm not too sure if they are that cheap when bought used yet. But i don't think that the 8350 is that bad.
  2. Yup, also happens with WASD. If you want to run forward and rest your finger on any different key.. you'll press it.
  3. Well, that does indeed sound weird as all hell. Any chance that there was a weird background advertisment running though? Maybe on a different tab? If it happened to you in the past maybe it was an ad on a page you visit every now and then? If that's not the case then yeah, that would require someone with more knowledge than me.
  4. I'm using Kailh Red right now, so pretty much MX Red, but to me they are weird for gaming. The Keys are so sensitive that i sometimes press A or D when trying to just run forward just because my fingers are hovering over them. Also, the travel distance is quite long so repeatedly pressine a button, like Melee in MMORPG (or, in my case, Warframe) is a pain for me. I would either get O-rings to shorten the travel distance or get tactile Switches instead, but in the end its up to peoples preferences.
  5. I don't know why but it felt like i was reading a story with some scammer with broken english trying to get your Xbox Account.. that's kind of low if that's the official Support of Microsoft.
  6. I prefer Mech keyboards over Rubberdome anyday, even with Red switches which basically are just.. better Rubberdomes (from the feel of them). Would love to get my Hands on Green switches though, but i can never find a Groupbuy/Drop with Green Switches that supports more than just Paypal. x_x
  7. Play however you prefer it. I've always used pretty high DPi settings, even in ESL CS:S matches, and i never had any Problems with aim or accuracy. It just feels more natural to me than having to move my arm around the globe just to make a 360. I even had to bump up the DPi even more sometimes when playing Surf_ Maps back in the days. So yeah, whatever you prefer. Some like it slow, some like it fast.
  8. Oh yeah, i totally forgot about the founders Edition thing. Yeah, aftermarket Blower would be a better choice then for sure.
  9. 1060? That should be pretty close to a 970 Performance-wise if i remember right, so if you can find a reference Model that would be a thing to go for.
  10. As said above, buy O-Rings. I myself have Kailh Red switches which are silent as long as you don't bottom them out, but the plastic clack when you do bottom them out indeed is fairly loud, that's where O-Rings save your day. There are also dampening pads for Cherry and Cherry-like switches, but i'd go for O-Rings, just seems to be easier and faster to do.
  11. I guess that's one of the side effects of hanging out on /r/MechanicalKeyboards too much
  12. I would test it before buying one as they tend to be pricy if you go for big Brands like Ducky, WASD, Vortex and the likes. You can get some cheap Mechanical Keyboards on Amazon from unknown brands, most of them don't have Cherry Switches though but rather Kailh or Gateron. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's mostly just a Brand thing. (i use Kailh myself) If you decide to to Mechanical, you could check out the Zolimx Combaterwing or AUKEY keyboards on Amazon, they are both below 60€ here on the German Amazon, i imagine them to be similar in other regions aswell. Also found a rather cheap one on the Canadian Amazon : https://www.amazon.ca/GranVela-Multicolor-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches/dp/B01L6JLNUO/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1485022634&sr=8-6&keywords=e element keyboard
  13. I got Kailh Reds and came straight from Rubberdomes aswell. I have to say that Red Switches are pretty close to rubberdomes, but i tend to bottom them out quite a lot because im still pretty used to Rubberdomes. Maybe MX Brown/Blue fit you better as you can better feel and hear when they actuated, as stated above.
  14. Gigabyte K85 but i think that's a bit too big for your taste and has Kailh Reds. Maybe some Keyboards like Ducky, Pok3r, WASDkeyboards, das keyboard, or some lesser known brands like e-element would fit your size preference. Then there are Plancks, KBparadise V60 mini, Varmilo VA68M or HHKB on the smaller spectrum of keyboards. Some of them even come in sets you have to assemble so you can chose which switches you want to use.
  15. I couldn't care less about the thumbnails as long as the Video has everything i need inside of it, and they do. But yeah, YT Comments are really something else.
