  1. Thanks for responding. Yes, it's just a an occasional power spike and then it will drop back down during less demanding tasks. I've recently seen it spike to about 94 watts. May go even higher if I watched it longer, but that's what I saw recently. I mean, everything seems to be running great. Just thought the voltages were a little high.
  2. Are these voltages normal looking to y'all? I see the CPU Core Voltage jump to 1.352V at one point. I know it will occasionally rise during demanding applications, just seems concerning. Also, I am running system in ECO mode (65W), but constantly seeing power go way above this. Is this normal? Some additional settings in the BIOS screenshots below. Pretty much all I've set is the RAM in EXPO mode and the CPU in ECO mode (65W) and that's about it. Fan settings to silent as well. I can build a computer and do basic tweaks within the BIOS, but when it comes to voltages and indepth stuff like this, I am clueless. Thanks in advance. I'll be getting busy soon, so I'll respond back when I can. 3. I want a simple splitter cable to hook the headphones up to both desktops at the same time but will only be using one desktop at a time. The other desktop will be turned off. I just hate having to switch the headphone cable around. I prefer a cable over an audio switch.
  4. I have the Beyerdynamic DT 900 PRO X headphones and would like to connect them to the input on both desktops. Do y'all have a quality splitter cable recommendation? Looking on Amazon all I can see is splitters with mic inputs, but I don't have a mic. Just want to hook the headphones to both desktops without anything fancy. Will not be using both desktops at the same time. Thanks again everyone!
  5. I want to be able to use 1 keyboard and mouse between 2 desktops, but will only use one desktop at a time. Whichever desktop I need to use at a given time, the other will not even be powered on. One desktop is for gaming, the other is for everything else. What I'd like to know is this; is there simply a USB cable that will allow me to do this? Yes, I'm aware of KVM and USB switches, but since I will only have one PC turned on during use, I would just like to find a USB cable that will allow me to do this. If someone is already doing exactly this, what cable are you using? If there are no simple USB cable options, I guess a KVM or USB switch will have to do and would appreciate your recommendation(s). Thanks in advance everyone! I do appreciate your help!

  7. I see there's a VBIOS update for my GPU, do you recommend updating it, or not? The VBIOS details are lacking. All it says is "Update VBIOS to improve the compatibility". Not sure what this means, but if it improves performance, or fixes an issue, I'd be more willing to update. Anyone with this same GPU running this latest VBIOS, and if so, did it improve anything? Thanks!
  8. I received the GPU. All seems good. Update here with pics on how it came, if interested.
  9. I bought an open box ASUS TUF 4070 Ti that did not come with the little sag bracket, so I am looking for suggestions. What sag brackets are y'all using with this particular GPU that works well? I know most all brackets would probably work, but I'm Looking for something that plays nicely with this particular GPU. Also, my pc case is the Lian Li Lancool 216. Thanks in advance for your help. I truly appreciate it!
  10. Could very well be. Or, maybe some of the packaging gets badly damaged during shipping, but the GPU itself is fine. And since there is no retail packaging, at least not one in decent condition, they sell them as an open box in these white replacement boxes. I know my older ASUS motherboard I purchased back in 2013 also came in the same type white box. But yes, I know they do sell actual customer returns. Anything is possible, I suppose. Hopefully its actually new. It looks it.
  11. Update! Just wanted to update everyone on the GPU. I received it a couple of days ago and am very happy to report all seems good so far. GPU was shipped in a Newegg brown box. Inside was a plain white box containing the GPU. The GPU was sealed in an electrostatic bag. Unless they reapplied the protective plastic film on the GPU, the GPU itself appears to be brand new. It still had the protective plastic film covering it, including on the fans. There is no retail box. No accessories of any kind. No manual. No GPU support bracket. Not even a signed picture of the man himself, Jensen Huang. Nothing but the GPU itself. That's a shame too. I would've at least liked to have had the little support bracket, but I can buy a different one. Thankfully, I had already recently ordered Corsair's power cable to use, so I wasn't going to use the included one anyway. And thank, God! There were no boogers or pubic hair anywhere on the GPU. No toenail clippings inside the box. No half eaten baloney sandwich in there. All appears clean. After hearing about some of the Newegg horror stories of late, I'm very, very, very thankful all is good! I've not tested the GPU yet as some have suggested, but I have played several hours of Battlefield 2042 on 128 player maps with all settings set to ultra. I have the Alienware 38 inch ultrawide monitor with a resolution of 3840 x 1600 @ 144 Hz. The game runs incredibly well, and looks awesome! I'm getting well over a 100 fps. I've had no stuttering, no artifacts, no crashing, no issues at all. At least none so far, and I hope everything continues to work this well. I may run a few stress tests before long, but maybe that's not really necessary. Below are some pics for those of you who may be interested in seeing how it was shipped, and after installed. Also, at the time I ordered it on Newegg, price for this open box 4070 Ti (Non OC version) was $699.99, plus tax, of course. That's the cheapest I've seen for an open box of this particular GPU. Yes, I know. It's still too expensive. But, I needed one for my new build. Got tired of waiting. Best of luck to those of you who decide to order an open box GPU from Newegg, or wherever.
  12. Thanks again, guys! Much appreciated! GPU supposed to be here tomorrow sometime, and when I have time, I will run some tests on it. And of course, play some games. I'll update how it all goes. May even pop back in with a question or two.
  13. Ordered an open box ASUS TUF 4070 Ti from newegg to be delivered the 21st. What software do y'all recommend I use to test it with, and what all do I need to look for regarding potential issues? How long should I run each recommended test? Thanks in advance, guys!
  14. Sold by Newegg. I always make sure items are sold by Amazon or Newegg when shopping there. I've personally never had any issues buying from Newegg, but have heard a lot of bad stories from others. Only used item I've bought there was that motherboard. Bought a used Razer TKL keyboard from Amazon about 3 or 4 years ago and it was actually brand new. Box was damaged, but keyboard was still sealed in plastic. I'm using it to type this now. I do have more confidence in buying used from Amazon, than I do from anywhere else. I have some money in my Newegg account I can use towards the purchase is why I am considering Newegg. Thanks you two!
  15. Been waiting for a particular GPU to come back in stock, but the wait has been long. Do any of you have experience with used GPUs from Newegg? I bought a used motherboard from Newegg back in 2013, and it's still working fine. What y'all think? Go for it? Run hard and fast away from them?
  16. Recently built a new AM5 system on an ASUS B650E-F motherboard and Ryzen 7600X CPU, and wanted to ask those of you who have the same board what BIOS version are you running, and if there any issues? I'm on BIOS version 1409, but there are two newer stable versions (1414 and 1616). There's a Beta 1410, yet, a stable 1416, but I'm not touching a Beta. Like, WTF! ASUS is all over the place with these BIOS'. Link to the motherboard BIOS page After all the recent bad news with ASUS, I've not been using the new system much at all, till this crap gets sorted out, and what BIOS I should install. Just trying to play it safely for now. Thanks, guys!
  17. Thanks for your help, everyone! I do appreciate you taking the time to do so. I went ahead and ordered the Corsair PSU. Seems to be a popular choice. And happy new year to all!
  18. Did you have any issues routing the cables? Thanks
  19. Looking at the Corsair RMX Series (2021) RM750x, and was wondering about reliability and if the cables having In-cable capacitors could be an issue or not, with cable management. Most other PSUs I am looking at are either currently out of stock, or too expensive. So am looking at the Corsair, which is currently being sold at a decent price. Thoughts?
  20. I saw this question posted somewhere else, but there's no clear answer. I also have the same question, myself, and hope someone here has an answer. If I were to buy BF2042 from the Epic games store, will the game show up in my library of games in the EA app, and will I be able to launch the game from the EA app? All my other Battlefield games are in my EA library, and I prefer them ALL to be in there, and to be able to launch them from there. I don’t want to install additional launchers if I don’t have to do so. I too have a discount code to use in the Epic games store, and this is why I'm considering buying the game from there. Thanks in advance!
  21. Thanks for the help, guys! Still doing a little researching!
  22. Anyone using this app? Was interested in trying this out, but a comment under a YouTube video mentions you have to use a credit card to be able to cash in your rewards for a gift card. So my question is this, after you've earned rewards from shopping and want to cash them in for a gift card, do you have to use a credit card to do so? This makes no sense, or maybe this isn't true. Just trying to figure this out before I decide to join or not. https://www.capitalone.com/learn-grow/money-management/capital-one-shopping/
