  1. Hello there, I seem to have an issue when I reset my PC. Basically every window I open has an odd border around the top right buttons and a strange black border around the windows. Anyone know what the issue is? Thanks for your help.
  2. So whats everyone's final view? 24 inch or 28 inch?
  3. I don't think you can get a Cherry MX Brown keyboard for $30, i'm from the UK and converting that makes it around £23-£24. Maybe if you wanted mechanical look for other switches aside from Cherry, they tend to be cheaper and perform relatively the same
  4. Yes correct, the current TN I have will continue to stay as my primary and for gaming. Secondary panel will be used for content creation, content consumption, productivity and yes multitasking (spot on!) however colour isn't as important as you may think. I do prefer the sound of better colours for watching videos but not so important as I don't do anything that has to have perfect colour accuracy.
  5. Haha sounds like a good way to expand on space I guess. But seriously, I have no space really for a 28 inch monitor. My gaming setup can barely fit a 24 inch monitor on my desk, putting the 24 inch/28 inch 4K next to me on a storage thing. 28 inch I think would be too big but 24 is the right size which is why that was a better option in a way. I am not that loyal when it comes to screen types such as IPS or TN. I've heard much about them but even if I chose IPS for my secondary monitor this time, I would still go back to TN next time I upgrade my 1080p monitor
  6. Even for the reasons stated above? (such as TN and space issues?)
  7. 24 inch seems to be a better size for me though due to the distance I am sitting at + the space I have available. I only have those 2 option sadly, it's either the 24 inch or 28 inch 4K
  8. I've never used IPS before, but this is going to be my secondary monitor not my primary. Still sticking with my 1080p 1ms 144hz TN for gaming and primary use
  9. Exactly what I was thinking but I have heard some people say that even at 28 inches it's not worth it. Take in mind that I do gaming + some video work + content consumption. IPS has a 4ms but I am not sure how much difference it would make over 1ms
  10. Hello there, I was hoping some friendly people on the forum could help me out with a decision here. Basically i've been looking at 2 different 4K (UHD) monitors, one 24 inch and one 28 inch. I am debating which one to get purely because of the following reasons: 1. My current monitor is 24 inch and another 24 inch will keep my setup clean 2. The 24 inch version is IPS whereas the 28 inch version is TN 3. 24 inch version comes with adjustable stand with height adjust and able to turn the monitor to 90 degrees 4. 28 inch monitor has a 1ms response time vs 4ms response time with the 24 inch model (Gaming is important for me but not too sure how much difference 1ms and 4ms will make + Already have a 1080p 1ms 144hz display for primary gaming) 5. Is 28 inch too big for the distance I am sitting at, relatively close around 30-40cm away from my screen + not much desk space What are your guys' thoughts? Which one would you suggest? Thank you for your support!
  11. Let us know how it does, it solved everything for me. But may not work for you.
  12. It might be something you overlook but check your hard drive's age and free capacity. I upgraded a system to a RX 460 recently in my spare system and seen that in CS:GO it only did about 50fps on 720p on Low settings. Turned out that a change for the hard drive was just fine. The hard drive was from 2009 but wasn't near full at all. Just have a look how old your hard drive is.
  13. Ahh thanks for you opinion, I ordered it. It is pristine apart from one tiny scratch on the top or bottom (can't remember). Thanks for your help
