  1. update, out of sheer frustration I started spamming the spacebar and guess what it feels normal again, looks like pressing something harder when angry works, but still i would prefer to open up the keys and give them a clean.
  2. hi guys, I dropped some coffee on my laptop, and a little while later the space bar has gotten really sticky, but functions properly even with the force im used to, but it just feels weird any fixes in mind? TIA
  3. I am looking for a hard drive enclosure under $250 that can be shipped or is available locally in Switzerland, the enclosure should be 4-bayed that supports 4x4Tb 3.5inch hard drives, it should be an external thing that you can plug it into your laptop via usb 3.1 Any suggestions? Thanks
  4. I'm currently plagued by adware issues on my mac, I also have chrome downloaded on it and have removed all suspicious extensions, I even have malware bytes and after a security check it has quarantined 18 files/folders; can someone please tell me if its safe to delete them, without them disrupting my mac in anyway (view the attached image); Thanks.
  5. I recently bought a DELL G7 with a 128Gb SSD and A 1TB HDD The problem is that my SSD storage is maxed but I cannot find the internal HDD to store data on (it says it has not been formatted yet) How can I activate or format my HDD without losing information on the SSD
  6. the way i am working currently is a makeshift way until i replace my hard drive enclosure as i edit from backups and leave the originals to a side but since my HDD enclosure died i have to work from 6 individual external WD HDDs therefore linking all the individual clips to the timeline in premier pro so i literally have 6 HDDs plugged in the computer. for some reason premier pro asked for me to manually relink the clips rather than automatically relinking.
  7. Thanks for trying to help I've individually linked all the media from separate HDDs to Premier pro as my editing HDD bay is DEAD. So once I've linked and made all the clips offline and save it'll stay linked right and i won't have to re-link them?
  8. thanks my project file was linked to my editing harddrives those failed so i have over 6 harddrives containing the raw footage (file names are exactly the same) but when i relink them the program crashes midway and i then have restart the process of linking i have two sets of the footage is there anyway to link all of the footage at once rather than linking them individually
  9. URGENT I recently purchased a hard drive bay to edit from rather than using all my hard drives, so all of my progress was on the HDD bay One day the bay stopped working, but luckily everything on it was a copy, the problem is as follows I tried to relink all the files by connecting all of my hard drives at once, I always get pretty far but then all of a sudden Premier Pro crashes. I can only link one file at a time and there are over 300 such clips. Any quick fixes. Thanks.
  10. @NelizMastr After a failed diagnostic test (The screen started glitching out, tearing and lots of RGB dots on the screen) the Mac shut down, then I proceeded to turn it on again, without any issue and I shut it down and unplugged it from the wall. Later on in the day I powered it back on and since then its been on and nothing has happened so far, I have been using the system normally since yesterday afternoon. Do you think it could've been a software glitch, since it occurred after my hard drives ejected and Premiere Pro crashed leaving the OS stuck and I having to hard reset the system? Anyway Thanks For The Advice.
  11. @NelizMastr I reset the PRAM (saw how to do it from the apple forums) upon booting the loadup screen showed no glitching I signed in and the Mac Pro shut off as it said in the forum, before the reset the glitches on the loadup screen were that the apple logo was duplicated lots of green, red and blue dots and constant flickering. Upon booting the flickering continued and lots of screen tearing as well as *I'm not sure if it looked like this* it looked as if the display turned into 4 simulated screens and all of them still showed the same problem. The apple forum further said to have the "logic board battery replaced*. Any idea what a new logic board would cost? Thanks.
  12. URGENT Computer: MAC PRO 6 CORE(Late 2013) LATEST UPDATE INSTALLED^ Hard Drive Bay: Startech 4 bay Hard Drives: WD Black 4TB x4(16TB) Raid 1(Therefore 2 drives of 4TB) I was in the middle of editing when Suddenly i got a prompt on the top right of the screen saying that both have been ejected and Premier Pro started freaking out and the enitre system hanged so I reset the Mac Pro upon rebooting the loadup screen started glitching out. A few moments later the screen repeated started blacking out so I reset it again. On the second time everything was fine but I could not type into the search bar in safari after yet another restart the typing issue was fixed but the glitches had returned. Any suggestions to a fix or whats going on?
  13. I already have numerous drives that id like to access at once so therefore a 16tb external storage will help as a backup as well as my editing drive for this project. Thunderbolt would be preferable. @leadeater
  14. URGENT HELP required, was in the market for a NAS or external hdd solution(ssd too pricey) that is at least 16tb and doesn't break the bank. I am looking to use one for editing 4k content for a documentary. it should provide sufficient reliability and speeds for a smooth workflow ($1000).
