That's absolutely a legit reason. I would hate dating a girl that never made decisions. I'd consider her apathetic and uninteresting. Why would I want to make the decisions about everything? It gets tiring and boring. Sorry if you're taking this personally.
 
And as for encouraging a kid to play mind games, that's some pretty terrible advice. Sounds like you need some emotional maturity before you keep dishing out advice. It can be harmful to people that take it seriously.

If you go to Ikea in person, you can actually see the different desktops and legs and deside which top you want and whatever legs you want to go with it. So you can go with different heights and styles.
If you don't have one close enough, just get the Galant, like ChrisxlxCross recomended. That's what I just bought. There's many different sizes and shapes of Galant (straight, corner, etc)

God forbid any has to learn new software! Yes, let's all have the mindset of 70 year old people that refuse to use the internet because they don't want to learn something new.
 
Seriously, I hate seeing these types of comments in a tech forum. A place where people should be open minded to advancing software/hardware.
 
Maybe Teamspeak, or whatever anyone else likes, is the best option, be let's hear some legit reasons why.

Played it since "closed" beta and I've never had a problem other than once (yes once, not twice, once) being stuck in the deploy menu during beta.

Try an MMORPG... those things will suck aways a week.... along with your soul, maybe.

Didn't this thing used to be pretty popular with World of Warcraft years back? "Multi-boxing" or something like that? The person could have 4 WoW accounts all open and playing at once, controlled all through 1 computer, so they could move all 4 characters at once with his keyboard and mouse. Made for interesting PvP'ing, considering the person could attack someone with 4 Shamans at once, for example.

If marketing speak is making people mad, they could just wait until products have been released and then purchase those products based on favorable reviews in the desired price range... you know... let the quality of the products drive what you put your money in, rather than being led around by marketing noise.

I'm so jealous!! I need IPS and threads like this kill me! I have the funds but not the desk space ><;;   And I even have funds for a new desk but not the apartment space!! And while I would like to upgrade my apartment in order to upgrade my desk in order to upgrade my monitor, that would be the most money ever spent on upgrading my display     Southern California beach city rent prices! Ugh!

Welcome! Very cool. Do you design also, or just manage the lighting during shows? I spent 5 years working in lighting through college and my best friend tours with bands around the country doing lighing design. What a fun world the tech crews live in!

i love how you are just as bad as the people you are complaining about, that is exactly why they post here, because general discussion is the most active, if you want instant response you just throw all the threads in here, that's why alot of people don't bother going into the other sections, and most of the people who should see it is in the forum features and suggestions thread.
 
either way!, i like the idea, it could be cool, save some space and possibly make the forum more efficient to browse, that's only if we don't end up with a pile of like 30 stickers on the top page though...
