  1. Recently when I put V-Sync on my games lock to 55 FPS. This is on any game and I cant work out what is causing it. Before it was locking to 60 FPS just fine. This is on games like Rocket League, Elder Scrolls Online and CSGO. When turning V-Sync off the frame rate is over 100FPS so its not my system cant run it. 2. My motherboard has its m.2 slot right under the GPU which isn't the best place. But the slow boot can happen when its been shut off all night or if its been running all day.
  3. I have tried disabling Fast boot in BIOS but I haven't tried disabling it in windows. I will give that a go.
  4. I have been trying to fix an issue with my PC where my boot times can be 3-4+ minutes 80% of the time, The other boot times are under 20 seconds, but more often than not its 3-4+ minutes. I have tried a fresh install of windows 10 but the issue came back pretty quickly and without me installing any other software. When booting it gets past the motherboard splash screen and then goes into a black screen with a loading circle it then stays there for about 3 minutes and then it will continue loading windows. I have tried: Disabling ULPS which was recommend to disable for AMD graphics cards Updating motherboard BIOS Re-installing windows Re-installing graphics drivers Disabling XMP My system is: CPU - Ryzen 1600 GPU - R9 290 RAM - Corsair 3000 MHz DDR4 Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-AB350 Gaming 3 Boot Drive - Samsung EVO 960 m.2 I'm stuck on what to try next so any suggestions would be great, if you need a video of the boot I can provide it. Thank you.
  5. I have and it didnt make any difference, not sure what else I can try
  6. I have an AMD R9 290 running on the 19.4.3 drivers. When I try and upgrade to any newer driver the screen resolution goes to 800x600 and I am unable to change it, I also cant enable freesync. I have tried many different versions after 19.4.3 but none have worked and I have also tried doing clean installs which haven't worked. Not sure what else to try and wondering if anyone else is having the same issue. Monitor: LG 29UC88 (Using display port) Graphics Card: Sapphire R9 290 vapour-x
  7. I'm at a university accommodation which means I'm unable to change port forwarding for thing like running game servers or accessing my Plex server from outside the building. I was wondering if there is a way of bypassing port forwarding in any way which would allow me to run game servers and potentially access my Plex server from outside the building. This website suggests using a VPN to bypass port forwarding and I have got a server running with a OpenVPN server which I'm able to connect to but I'm unable to get port forwarding working through. Just wondering if its possible or if anyone has any tips? Thank you This is the website that said you can use a VPN to bypass port forwarding: https://portforward.com/help/alt-to-pf.htm
