  2. try removing the graphics card and using the built-in graphics and see what happens
  3. relax man i said in the future if his projects get bigger than yes upgrading to an i7 with a different motherboard would be great, so would switching to an AMD. im trying to save him money by saying that what he has now is fine
  4. yes it is, and if you ever want to know just try and click and drag in the space between where you think a space might be, if it ends up being highlighted with no character highlighted then its a space
  5. yes but the 4460 will be good enough for starting, theres no sense it spending another $150 on another cpu plus who knows how much for a different MOBO because of the socket. what im getting at is it will work fine for just getting into the sport

  9. this i way more than enough for now as your projects get bigger you will know exactly what you need (more cpu cores, more gpu ram, etc.) but this is a great start and way better than my first editing rig Source: 4 years of TV/Video Production
  10. then chances are warranty is voided, in that case tear it apart see where it went wrong, learn something and maybe use it as another pc with an external monitor?
  11. if i remember correctly "irql_not_less_or_equal" is related to hardware issues like drivers not driving (lol), try removing your GPU and use the onboard graphics and see what happens
  12. gliff.com is for making like flowcharts and diagrams, that could run on a phone, when i was getting my degree i had a laptop with 8Gb of ram and about 30 some tabs open i google chrome, and i stayed @ 90-99% utilization of memory, no way could 4gb of "Shared memory" do that
  13. u still run into the problems i stated earlier pretty much capped at 4gb of ram on all of them and extremely slow processor speed @1.6Ghz with a 2M cache and extremely low storage only @32 Gb and she said its for a course online which means he will probably have notes and they add up to alot after a while, granted you do get 100Gb of cloud storage but only for 2 years
