    Whoa, someone is reading my Biography? I'm honored! I'm Xanthe, and I'm a time traveler from the year 2,871. I enjoy many things, but here on the LTT forum I provide help to those who need it. From smartphones to Photoshop, I have many areas of expertise. Curious about the future? Ask me in a private message, or post your question as a status on my wall. So you want to know about me, huh? Well there isn't a whole lot for me to tell you. I'm Xanthe, a woman from the year 2871 AD who's come back in time just to help some people. That's it. I do like cats, and space, if you couldn't tell. Lasers are cool too. Unfortunately in my time using a laser to weaponize a cat is strictly forbidden. :( Oh well. At least I have my crudely made art! 

 

I currently live in the US state of Washington (not to be confused with the non-state US capital known as Washington D.C.) and I work as a phone rep for a financial institution. While I won't state the name of my employer I will say what we work with: mostly naughty websites. You know how when someone buys a subscription to a porn website instead of being charged $19.99 on their card by "Space Cat Porn Inc" they get charged by something more like "Space Cat Solitary Entertainment Company"? I work at one of those places. To be fair, we do have some clients who aren't porn, but I'd say 90% of my calls are from the porn customers. It's kinda fun! 

 

I like my work because I get paid a decent wage and I am openly allowed to browse the web when I'm not on a call. I use linustechtips at work a lot to pass the time now :)

I will answer your questions about the future if you like, but keep these things in mind:

  • This is a tech forum first and foremost. I will not respond to time travel related questions in forum threads/topics, except maybe in off topic, if it's appropriate. Ask me in a PM or as a status update on my personal profile. 
  • My mere existence here has set a new timeline in motion, so many things may unfold differently than they did for me.
  • Anything you ask me about the past prior to 2003 will be exactly the same as my time, so if you ask me something like "Was Roswell legit?" my answer would be fact, assuming we know the answer by my time, that is.
  • I will not lie, but I may refuse to answer a question.
  • I won't offer any information that could directly lead to personal profit, such as which sports team wins a match. 
  • I'm hesitant to answer questions about your personal lifespan, like "When will I die?"
  • Don't ask me crass questions.

I can't think of anything else to write here. Maybe I'll post an FAQ about the future if enough people PM me questions or ask in status updates on my profile.
