  1. So where to start? I recently bought an Intel 8400 and intended to upgrade my 6400 CPU, the problem is that my motherboard gigabyte h110m-ds2, was not compatible but I didn't research enough to found out until I messed up, the bios upgraded nicely but once I installed the new CPU and turn the computer on, it will start power cycling, even after putting the old CPU and removing everything is still power cycling, the PSU works ok I guess, it turns on with a clip and a fan I'm leaving to disappointment island
  2. So sorry it took me so long to reply I am using a GTX 1060 but I strongly believe it's the VGA cable I was using, with a shorter one it would detected 1080 with no problem, but now I killed everything and generated another problem, I installed an incompatible CPU to the motherboard and now it will power cycle
  3. I tried that as well but i was only able to find the update firmware for the TV, and my graphic card wouldn't let me set a custom resolution; but i found a third party solution on this page: https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU It's a program that allows you to set a custom resolution
  4. Hey there, I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem I recently got I bough a 3 meter VGA cable to use it with my computer and TV, the VGA goes to the TV port and the other side goes into a VGA to displayport adapter which also goes to the graphics card; previously with a shorter VGA cable, windows would detect my TV branding and model but since I bought the 3 meter long cable, it would only detect the Full HDTV as generic monitor, decreasing the native resolution to 1280x1024. The drivers are up to date and I already tried connecting the adapter to other ports onto the Card but doesn't seems to be working. Do you know if maybe the length of the cable or the model could be affecting the resolution? Thank you!
  5. Sorry, not motherboard; I would be using a graphic card gtx 1060; don't worry I already slapped myself
  6. Good day. I've been wondering recently about which CPU I should buy, I recently became interested on the Pentium g4440 because it's over clocking capacity, but my question is which one should I buy, compared with a 3 months used i5 6500 with a cost of 142 U$D; it pretty much would cost the same at the end due I would add a water cooling system to the Pentium processor. and also I would like to add, as a motherboard I would be using a gtx 1060. Thank you.
  7. Good day folks. I recently started to build my first PC which the following components: WD HDD 1tb Gigabyte ga-z170x Kingston SSD 120 EVGA 600b power supply Intel core i5 6400 at 2.7 GHz Hyper X fury 2x 4gb ddr4 And a mid tower case I have many doubts and I was wondering if you could help me deciding which graphic card should I buy I have a few options available but I would like to choose the best option in budget I can find on Amazon Mexico. My first option it's an EVGA GeForce GTX 750ti sc 2gb ddr5 for 1750 pesos; around 95 USD dollars My second option it's an Asus rx 460 2gb ddr5 OC on 142 U$D These cards I would be buying them next week although the GTX might arrive in one month since it comes from china same as some of my PC components The other options which I have to wait another month worth of savings would be: EVGA GTX 1060 3gb ddr5 at 235 U$D ASUS GTX 1060 6gb ddr5 300 U$D Nitro + RX 480 8gb ddr5 for 315 U$D I really would like to buy a card that allow me to play some demanding games at 1080 such as GTA V, fallout 4, the Witcher 3, etc... however I would like to mod them as well which it requires more power but I would like to save my money as much as possible. So if you could give me your opinion I will really appreciate it. Thank you for your help guys!
