  1. Out of interest, what performance should I expect if I was to play AAA games (Fallout, GTA, Battlefield etc.) with the i5 2400 + Rx460? I wouldn't be playing on a particularly high resolution, obviously no more than 1080p. What settings and fps would I be looking at? I know it varies per game but generally.
  2. I have to agree, perhaps I'll consider the psu a necessary part of getting the new gpu instead of just an afterthought.
  3. I don't have the Vostro at the moment but there are lots going cheap on ebay, and as discussed above it comes with a 300w psu so it's just about enough.
  4. http://www.dell.com/uk/dfb/p/vostro-260/pd But either way, wouldn't be difficult to stick a slightly more powerful one in there.
  5. The 460 requires a minimum of a 300w psu which is what the Vostro comes with, so It shouldn't be a problem
  6. World of tanks and War thunder mainly. I don't expect it to run any AAA games but it'd be nice. Haven't really thought about resolution, depends on whatever cheapo monitor I choose. Couple of years tops.
  7. Hi, I'm thinking of buying a Dell Vostro 260 that is equipped with an i5-2400, 8GB ram and a 500GB HDD. I was looking for some advice to whether this is a good platform for some upgrades, mainly, a new GPU like an RX460. Is it worth buying the Vostro and buying a gpu, or saving up more money and building a budget gaming pc, something like (i3 6100, 8gb ram, rx460)? Thanks in advance
