I've settled with this build since it seems pretty good, but I want to ask you the community if there should be any changes or suggestions that should be made. Additionally, I'll need a wireless adapter added to the list.
    Uses will include:
    -Animation
    -Art
    -Gaming
    -Internet use
    -School work

    Additional information:

    Location - Sacramento, California

    Budget: $730 (maximum is $800)

    Thanks in advance.

I have no trouble believing that really. Most of them have been horrible for the past couple years/seasons. I used to watch more or less 30 anime a year before, but since 2015, that number went down to 15, 14 in 2016 and 10 so far this year.
Not sure if the number of good anime went down in general, or if my taste just changed and I simply stopped watching trash...

The only anime this season that may appeal to me, is The Ancient Magus' Bride, but that's only because I've read the manga and liked it.

It's a good habit to do, so I do it.
Though I'm not really good at it, or so I think, because I don't have a.. 'system' to go by. I just write anything that I think is note-worthy meaning I cram vocabs, main ideas, extra notes, and etc all in one place, which I think causes disorganization. I also tend to write everything in order and when I find extra notes that were supposed to go before OTHER notes, I get confused of where I put it.

is it bad to cram everything into one and not dividing each notes into different categories?

so. in short, i'm not a good note-taker, but i do it anyway(because im anxious that i'll forget something important and wouldn't have a reliable source to depend on for mind refreshment)

Dude, it's 2017. Use a laptop or tablet to take notes.

That way if you need to insert a page, you just do it.

Furthermore, if you cannot use a laptop in class, then use a standard 3-ring binder with regular lined paper, not a booklet. That way, again, if you need to insert a page, you just move it into the correct position.

Lastly, I'd scan those 40 pages using a scanner and turn them into a PDF file. Bonus points if you use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to convert the text into actual selectable and editable text.

AniJan reacted to Dash Lambda in just a quick math question..
A good way to understand them is to just think of shading a number line. You just shade in each inequality individually.
If it's a compound inequality joined with "or," then x can be in any shaded region -But if it's joined by "and," x can only be within the overlapping regions.

From Khan Academy, "or" is only inclusive, not exclusive. I don't really like such imprecise language (I mean, in math we have IFF, or "If and Only If," out of necessity), but that's what Khan Academy says, and that's what the OP's using.

It's all a question of if you want to learn or not.
Missing parts is why I recommend using a textbook, even if just as supplement. You could, say, go through the practice problems and look through the chapter when you don't know how to solve one, in order to fill Khan Academy's gaps.

I don't know how to help you with your notes -The few notes I do take are about as organized as a shopping bag full of unbound cables.

It just means that the value of x is greater than 3 or less than seven, but not both.

So for X>3, the value of x would have to be a number that is greater than 7 because it can be both greater than 3 and less then 7. And for x<7, the value of x would have to be less than 3 because it can't greater than 3 and less than 7.

AniJan reacted to Mira Yurizaki in Is there a video or a site that contains basic computer hardware knowledge?
This is a rather broad topic to cover. Sure there are things like common hardware in electronics which can include the CPU, RAM, storage... but then you get into other topics like what's clock speed, the difference between a bit and a byte, what does an OS do, etc.

If you really don't want to sift through a lot of stuff, I can provide you with this: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/UsefulNotes/HowVideoGameSpecsWork
Well to start, there's no such thing as "high dynamic contrast ratio". There's dynamic contrast ratio and there's high dynamic range, which does include contrast ratios in the mix.

But let's just go with what typical (or static) contrast ratio and dynamic contrast ratio is.

Static contrast ratio is the ratio between the brightest point on the screen vs. the darkest point at a constant back light setting. Essentially the ratio of brightness between black and white.

Dynamic contrast ratio is the ratio of the brightest point at the highest backlight setting vs. the darkest point at the darkest backlight setting. Essentially it's a way to inflate the contrast ratio spec and desn't really mean anything useful.

Get your hands on the CompTIA A+ book, should be able to grab one online or ebay super cheap and read a chapter at a time. I only did my A+ after working in IT for a few years and been building my own PC's since i was like 10 and saw it as basic stuff but a few guys on the course said they really learnt a lot.

And hell once you read it do some test exams online and if you want do the real exam and get your first IT qualification.
