    And now we shall shame you for being a fanboy. While I too prefer Nvidia cards I look at the graphs and then make an educated decision. Also Nvidia's GPUs are pretty bad in the 150$ price range.

    No such thing as standard size but the most common one is probably 3/8 ID 5/8 OD . Also I would recommend staying away from watercooling if you only have a 100 pounds to spend.
