  1. Ideally you should avoid using extenders/splitter's, especially if you are daisy chaining them. *Most extenders/splitters are only available from unknown manufacturers who don't test for compliance with the standards that the connectors.
  2. My 212 Evo has never had any problems, or basically anything from noctua (expect the low profile ones).
  3. It appears that the case you have chosen only has 2 front usb and 1 headphone/microphone Comb jack.
  4. Did the ram and VRM componants have a thermal pad or thermal paste?
  5. Its not a brand i have herd of, i would be very cautious
  6. Have you overclocked the GPU? If so return it to factory settings and see if that fixes it
  7. After some extra testing it seems to sit at 60-65° (~80watts instead of ~125 watts) in ETS2 on ultra (after disabling v-sink) Thank you all for all of your help and advice
  8. As for the fan I think it is on a straight line (0% at 40°, 100% at 80°)
  9. Due to my game drive giving me a smart error recently I have had to uninstall most of my games (I only have a 120 GB SSD for windows and games) so I can only install older /smaller games
  10. After 10 minutes it got up to 84 °C Something like 175°F
  11. After 5 minutes of MSI kombustor the temps are low 80s (at factory overclock)
  12. So I have a gigabyte RX 480 that I got just after launch and would like to know if Should I dismantle, clean, repaste and rebuild it? If i should, would i need to replace the thermal pads? And do you know (or know where to find) the thickness of pads i would need
  13. i have been using kodi to stream movies/tv shows fore a wile now form my shared media drive, and it runs on practically everything from phones, raspberry pi, fire tv stick & original xbox(possibly outdated)
  14. hold off untill zen 2/ Ryzen 3000 is announced in may, if nothing else first gen zen should drop in price i would recommend this ram kit instead https://pcpartpicker.com/product/p4cMnQ/patriot-viper-4-8gb-2-x-4gb-ddr4-3000-memory-pv48g300c6k
  15. Make shore the OS is 64bit, make shore the cooling fan is clean and hope it lives an-over year
  16. that CPU is 10 years old, so i wouldn't expect much from it
  17. the frame rate is suposidley 120fps (as aposed to htc vive 90fps) more pixels on each screen
  18. When ever i launch just cause 3 the first 10 seconds or so the frame rate is in the 10 to 20 range then once it has loaded and figured itself out it goes up to 50 to 60 range (my CPU & 8gb of ram is the bottleneck in my pc)
  19. i think the drops in frame rate you mention is the ram not able to providing data as fast as the CPU is wanting it, duel channel ram should help more than a 1080p monitor
  20. my GPU is rarely gets full load, a 1366 by 768 at 60 monitor (or tv) just dose not stress them to there max
  21. i think Quadro cards use NV link bridges, the number of lanes use should not change (as long as you dont need to move one of the cards to a slot with less lanes assigned to it)
  22. seems about right for the uk the cheepest one i can find is £145 (including delivery)
