  1. Well, I've been Prime95 it for 6 hours... Did a custom preset using every possible resource I have.... Highest temp was 88C but is staying around 80C across all 4 cores... I'm actually starting to think it's my damn graphics card again... Because I've had to replace the unit twice due to it failing and crashing my Compy... So I am going to continue running my Prime test, but I'm gonna do a GPU burn in test as well as do a memtest after. Just to be safe
  2. Yeah, I've only started crashing about last week... I have no idea why, because it's only when I start gaming, and nothing else, I can run CryEngine 3 SDK for hours on end without issues, encode hours of HD video without problem, that's why I'm confused, and my temps so far are 68C to 70C on all four cores, and my GPU (GTX 680) is running @ stock speeds and temps are 73C under full load... Haven't crashed yet so idk
  3. I am doing a Prime95 test now... Although I've had this overclock for almost a year now without a single issue, so I don't understand why it's acting up now.
  4. The past week while I've been gaming my screen will go blank, I I still get sound, but I cant get the screen to display anything, I've even tried on board graphics, nothing, mostly I'll freeze before I get the chance... I have to shut down via holding the power button, when I reboot it says the Overclocking has failed and to hit F1 to enable the overclock again. I only have my CPU at a mild overclock (i5 3570k @ 4.0GHz) I can fold for hours, video edit and work on 3D Modeling projects without issues or crashing, just when I game, can happen in 5 minutes or after an few hours... I have no idea what to do...
  5. Thanks for the reply, I figured as much, but I just wanted to make sure.
  6. I've been wanting a sound card for awhile now because audio is a very important thing to me when it comes to movies, gaming, and music. I am currently using my Denon 3212 AVR to run my 5.2 surround. (4-way towers, 12" subs, 3-way center) Would a sound card enhance the sound quality or since I'm already using an AVR would it not be an improvement at all? I use a hands free bluetooth headset for game VOIP and calls with family on Skype, besides that I blast my surround when I'm not chatting because I don't have to worry about being silent in my house.
